[voice][action welcome!] Selphie and the Zombie Sleepover
Did somebody tell a bunch of zombies that I was having a sleepover?!
Cause there's a whole load of them trying to get into my room!!
*There's a groan that is definitely not Selphie, followed by a hard thud and a sickening crunch*
They're a little too keen to hang out!
A little help?
*With thwacks and moans, Selphie becomes too distracted to continue the feed. Instead, she sounds distant as she attacks them, "Urgh, don't be so rude! I didn't even invite you! Yuck." If you've got the time to listen, Selphie is basically providing a commentary on her fights with the zombies*

[he'd start hacking through them like a grim reaper, which made quite a mess but was probably the fastest way to now them down and get to Selphie. Once he was close enough for her to hear him and catch glimpse of him outside her door, he had to make a wise crack] my, aren't you popular with the gentlemen?
no subject
I know, right? Totally. But these guys...they're just not my type.
*She held her nunchaku in her other hand, and used that to whack at the hands of a zombie that was trying to grab for her*
no subject
[to punctuate his remark he swept his weapon at several in her doorway, slicing through their heads horizontally. That took care of
Most of the zombies outside her room so he took a step inside to get at the ones in there]
no subject
*Selphie fumbled with the pistol for a moment: clearly this wasn't a weapon that she was used to using at all, so it took her a good few seconds to try and get it ready to fire again. She tugged at it in confusion, a zombie edging closer and closer to her*
They all have bad skin.
*Then she shot it at an awkward angle through its head, but it seemed to do the trick as it dropped to the ground*
Plus, they all smell super bad too.
no subject
Don't you know how to take a hint when you've been rejected? [he brought the scythe like portion of his weapon down on its head and it went limp]
no subject
Gah! Where are these losers coming from?!
no subject
[it was definitely a unique creation. Overall it looked most like a halberd, with half of the blade on its head looking like an axe and the other half a scythe. At the tail end of the pole, it was fixed with a spearhead in order to be lethal on all sides. And just like the first time he'd summoned it, it seemed encircled by a dark aura that seemed to drain all light from the air around it]
That's what I'd like to know...do you have a necromancer on your crew? It's very irregular for the dead to just...show up like this. There weren't even any corpses here to be animated before so it's like they were teleported here or something...
[he stood close to the door where he could strike at any others before they got in]
no subject
*Selphie turned to him, not quite accusingly, but definitely curious and a bit unsure. She eventually looked back to the doorway and leaned in the frame - it didn't seem as though any where nearby. At least not at that moment.
Suddenly, Selphie screamed as she felt something touch her leg. A hand had crawled over and was quickly trying to make its way up her bare leg, and she desperately tried to shake it off*
no subject
[he looked at her quickly when she started screaming. Though when he saw it was a hand, he almost laughed. Instead he just smacked it off her leg with a chuckle then cut bit in half with the axe portion of his weapon]
Sneaky, aren't they.
no subject
She stepped back from the hand as he cut it in half but then, when he was done, she stomped her foot down hard on it again and again*
Sneaky and gross. Are these like special pervert zombies or something? They're stinking out my room already...
*While she whined, Selphie glanced out of her room, keenly watching out for any others that might arrive*
no subject
I don't know, but they certainly swarmed here more than anywhere else on the ship. Maybe they're attracted to goodness?
no subject
You think that's maybe why they stopped coming? Because you got here?
*She chuckled a little more to herself, then peered round the corner of the door again. Selphie was suddenly quiet, and tense*
Ssh - do you hear that? Is it more?
no subject
Or maybe we just killed them all for now. But they seemed to keep coming earlier...
[he fell silent and listened as well, hearing the scraping of feet being dragged across the deck and low moans] yep...sounds like another wave is here
no subject
*Selphie, apparently, though slightly nervous, doesn't appear to be actually scared of the zombies right now. She seemed to know that she had an advantage, and that was exciting. So she practically skipped over the pile of bodies, heading straight towards where the scuffles were coming from. She tucked the pistol half into her pocket, then got her nunchaku ready.
As soon as she rounded the corner, the zombies walked quicker and moaned louder, but Selphie gave a twirl of her weapon and stopped them all by freezing them on the spot*
Yes!
no subject
[seeing her use her ice again, he gave a slightly impressed smile] how many different kinds of magic can you use?
no subject
Oh, I can use all the elements. Plus healing. Back home, I could some guardian forces - like spirit gods - to cause some pretty good damage too.
*She grinned, clearly quite excitable when she talked about magic and fighting*
Hey, you wanna slice them down while they're frozen?
no subject
[he moved towards the frozen zombies] sure...
[he swung hard and the blade cut through them like butter, apparently it had little trouble cutting even through things as hard as ice]
no subject
*She giggled and winked at him as he said it, kind of blowing her own trumpet but also just enthusiastic and pretty proud of her skills*
Your sword axe thing is pretty cool too. What's all the...stuff that's round it? It looks like...dark magic of some kind.
no subject
[her giggle and wink disturbed him but he was starting to get sort of used to it and just frowned a bit]
My bloodline is again an exception. We tend to master in a few types of not only magic but other practices such as alchemy. And even those types we don't master in, we usually have at least a basic knowledge... Such as how I've tried a bit of necromancy and quite a few other variations of black magic such as dark healing. My weapon exemplifies another couple of disciplines- summoning objects from the abyss and forming magic into a sharp edge for use with a blade. I can summon it any time and use my black fire with it to make it cut better. It's also sealed to me through a ritual and had been passed down through my bloodline for generations. The dark magic around it is due to it being sealed to me and being a legendary weapon of my world. As with other legendary weapons, it is named. We call it Grimandur and it was made by the first and greatest black neocalwot- Von South Reinan.
[well she probably wasn't interested in that history lesson but at least he answered her question and then some]

voice
[Now's the perfect time for teasing, right?]
Voice
*A pause so that she can kick back a couple of zombies*
Definitely invited. Come over any time you want!
*So she plays along with his tease, though she's kind of yelling and sounding a bit more urgent*
[Voice]
Ain't gotta ask me twice, sweetheart! Be up in few se- Lord a the Sea don't y' dumbasses ever take a shitty hint?
[More crashing.]
Might take a few minutes. Hang in there, Sel!
no subject
Argh -
Great! I'll just be here, turning guys away at the door.
*Once he got there he'd find Selphie doing her best to keep the zombies away. It was too tight quarters to use much magic so she was doing her best with her new pistol skills, and smashing skulls with her nunchaku. Meanwhile half a torso was crawling around with no head, arms reaching out to grab her*
no subject
[Namur kicks the weird torso thing away like a sissy punts a rat.]
That is some messed up shit. Jus' sayin'.
[He shoulders his way fully into her room, chucking the last few zombies out the door, then shuts it quickly, breathing hard.]
Damn these things jus' keep on comin'. Want me t' hold the door while y' get some sleep?
[Loud thumps start sounding at her door, and Namur braces it with his shoulder and his hip. At least the damn things aren't smart enough to try the doorknob.]
no subject
I know, right? They're pretty determined.
*Ahw looks at Namur standing at the door and listens to the knocks outside while wiping some goo off her hands onto the sides of her vest*
You make a much better doorstop than I do. But I don't think I'll be able to sleep with those creeps being so noisy.
