I miss home.

I haven't missed home in a long time. Not like this... Does anyone else?

I miss my friends, I miss chocobos, and I miss flying the airship! I miss the canteen hot dogs, and I miss feeling like I actually belonged somewhere...

If there was an island I could race chocobos and fly airships - that would be awesome!~

 

What do you miss about home, pirates? What would you bring here if you could?

Hm. I had some nice weapon making equipment there that I haven't been able to reproduce here...cuz it kinda requires not living on a ship.

As for people...only one guy I miss. He was a friend if mine...[well sorta his only friend at the time]

But he went missing. I don't even know if he's alive anymore.

Yeah, that friend was cool but he's not enough of a reason for me to want to go home. I'd still stay here with Faye for as long as I can.

That'd majorly suck and I'd do everything I could to get to her world...which would probably mean staying here. Even if all the outworlders were gone, the locals here are nicer than where I came from. Prolly cuz they're used to us weirdos, hah

People, mostly. Shoulda figured out by now we're pretty chill with wherever the hell we wind up so long as we got our peeps 'round t' hang with.

Hmm, but that's just it, having 'peeps around'. The crew is getting smaller all the time.

It's not just Ikki...it's everyone disappearing...not coming back. What if there's just me left? I wake up and everyone's gone? At least back home I'd know that people were still where I left them...

This was just a hobby. It helped keep my mind off the day job. But I did play in concerts and at festivals sometimes.

I like your song. What's an airship? And a chocobo?

I miss Lea and if he could come back it would be good, but I don't think he will. There isn't much to miss about home aside from that.

An airship is...well, it's a ship that can fly in the air. And a chocobo is a big beautiful bird - you can use them to run around on, and they like to race and dance.

I have the same feeling about Ikki. Not that I'll see him back home...

Yeah...yeah. Home is...yeah. I don't want to think about that anymore.

No. Not really. For a start, they're made out of metal, and they don't usually have a whole open deck. They can be just as big though.

They're way bigger than Xifer! They don't talk, but they eat lots of greens and berries. I think you'd really like them!

A big ship with no deck? Isn't that kind of weird? How do you sit on the railing and look around?

I think so, I really like birds. Are you sure though? Xifer's really big and he can get bigger if he wants to!
