[Voice] Shut Up About Swords

Let it be known...

*Oh dear. Judging by the drawl of Faye's voice, she's a rather unhappy woman indeed*

..that if a person doesn't use a sword, or even magic, in a fight, that doesn't mean they aren't strong. A person can cause serious damage with a gun. Or a fist. Or a hard roundhouse kick to the face.

*There's a pause as Faye takes a rather frustrated drag of her cigarette, frowning as she breathes out smoke*

Equally, chaos can be caused without violence too. It's amazing what can be done with a pair of pretty eyes and a smooth tongue.

*Double entendre that last one, if you please...*

So. Don't forget the pain that a nice girl with a pair of guns can cause. It might land you in serious trouble.

*Oops. Sounds like Faye overheard two of her crew discussing the strength and power of the members of the Roses. And yet neither of them even thought to mention the woman on board who's a great shot. Hmmph*

*Faye frowned slightly at him, then lay back against the mattress, enjoying how relaxing the foot rub was*

Of course. Wasn't it memorable for you?

Well of course it was....extremely memorable, but....well it was my first time. And it was amazing for me....[he was blushing pretty badly by now but managed to keep working on her feet, keeping his eyes on them]

It certainly seemed like you enjoyed it but I don't know how good or memorable it could have been since I was so inexperienced and you'd done it before and stuff...

*Faye sat up straight, but paused as she was about to take a sip of her vodka. She put it back down on the bedside table and pulled her feet out of his hands so that he'd have to pay her attention*

Thash. That was really, really important to me. It wasn't the same as - Never mind. But it was amazing. Trust me.

[the slightly apprehensive look on his face gave way to a big smile] it was...? Good. I'm really glad to hear that.

[cuz honestly he'd be a little hurt if it hadn't been amazing for her, at least emotionally]

Was it...the first time you'd slept with a guy that you knew loved you?

[he had to wonder if the man that had tricked her before her long sleep had done anything like that]

*Feeling bashful and a bit uncomfortable, Faye reached for her glass and took a few more gulps of her cocktail. Then she put it down and looked at Thash with lowered eyes, and she nodded quietly*

[he scooted up onto the bed, sitting close enough to run a hand softly over her calf] just know that...even though I do stupid, forgetful crap to hurt you sometimes, I do truly love you. It wasn't just great because it was the first time, it was great because it was you....because of how I feel about you.

*Faye sighed, resigned to giving up the cold shoulder, instead smiling at him softly when he touched her calf*

I know. I love you too, even if you're an idiot sometimes. And I'm glad... I was worried you weren't happy with it for a while...

Well...with a guy as pessimistic and insecure as me there were bound to be a few doubts no matter when it happened...[it wasn't easy for him to admit that and he looked down for a moment before looking back at her reassuringly]

But they're all long gone and there was no reason for them in the first place. I don't regret it one bit.

*She looked concerned when Thash admitted this, and she had been about to say something when he looked back up at her. Instead she glanced away for a moment before smiling*

Good. There would something wrong if you did...

Nope. No regrets there.... [though he still wasn't quite sure if he regretted asking her to marry him or not. It had certainly caused them both a lot of heartache. He wondered if he'd know when the right time to ask her again would be..or if there would even be a right time. Perhaps at this point it'd be best to leave it alone until she was the one to bring it up.]

[he looked at her feet] do you want me to keep going?

Good.

*Because they didn't have the time to regret things. She still worried about either of them disappearing suddenly some time. Again, it was a thought that made her instinctively touch the ring on its chain around her neck. Then she looked at Thash with a quirk of a smile*

No. I want hugs and kisses now.

As you wish, heh. [he scooted closer to sit right beside her and out his arms around her securely. Of course his tail curled into place around her as well. He kissed the side of her head softly, feeling how precious she was to him. Then he started to shower her face and jaw in kisses]

*The way that he was kissing her was quite ticklish, so although she had her arms loosely around him too, she was chuckling and wriggling in response*

Wow, Thash. You seem eager.

I am eager, to make you feel loved....[he kissed her once more on the neck] cuz you are

[he smiled at her for a moment before leaning into kiss her lips]

*Faye lay back against the pillows, happily resigning herself to all this attention from him. But she laughed at what he said, giving his bicep a playful tease*

You're an idiot, you know that?

*But then she grinned as she leaned into the kiss*

Yeah, but I'm not just any idiot. I'myour idiot.

[he laughed a bit before kissing her again, with enough wait to press her back against the pillows. Then he'd continue to lavish affection on her, not just because he'd been in trouble with he but because he wanted to]

Of course. My very own handsome idiot. To keep.

*She giggled softly as she lay back, allowing Thash to show her as much affection as he wants. She certainly wasn't going to complain, not when he had so much making up to do*
