[He clears his throat for just a second before continuing.]

Okay, so I think I've got the gist of it now. I can here in a...well, let's just say I didn't come here in the best of states, and I didn't have the most graceful landing. Going from being laid out on a table as someone's guinea pig, to near-drowned in a fountain doesn't exactly do much for the old mental state.

So I guess I need to join up with someone of you guys, right? Okay, I'm gonna' lay all my cards on the table early on, and maybe we can go from there.

Number one. I'm not some marauder. I'm not gonna' go stealin' boats and killing and all that crazy shit, and I ain't gonna' put up with people who do. I had my share of bad guys, back home.

Number two. My needs are few. I know how to live in the wild when I have to, so I don't exactly need fancy accommodations.

Number three, the biggie. I've got a...special condition that'll come up sooner or later. More often than not, around full moon. I'm a werewolf. It's not exactly something I could hide for any length of time on a boat, and I don't want people freakin' out. I know I'm far from the only non-human around here. I'm not dangerous, I'm not violent, it's just my genes. Got it?

But aside from that, I learn very quickly and I'm eager to find the pieces of this...thing. The sooner we do that, the sooner we leave this rock.

While she claims to be in control of herself, she was howling at the moon the other day. There are rumors that she's bitten someone on her last trip to shore, but I don't know if that's true. I'm not on the same ship as she is.

Still, she really gives your kind a bad name that way.

Well, it IS fun to kinda' let everything out like that. A little howling never hurt anyone.

Oh, I'm not on that crew - nor do I intend to be, for that matter. I was just surprised to see another werewolf around. She claimed to be the last of her kind.

Well, if we're all from different worlds, then that's another story. You have to take that into account. I thought I was damned near the last on my Earth.
