I need to get off this damn island so I can find that magical ruby. I'm not a sailor at all. I get motion sickness from slow moving chariots because of my magic. But I'm a damn good mage and fighter on land or on an animal's back. Help me out and I'll help you out.

I was trained by my father, the White Dragon Weisslogia, in Dragon Slaying Magic.

The result is that my senses, particularly smell, are higher than a normal humans'. I get motion sickness because of that. Because I feel off balance on any vehicle.

Why would a dragon teach you how to slay dragons? That seems kinda' counter-productive.

You can't simply take something to dull your senses? You'd think that along with the training, you'd get a little tutelage on how to deal with the side-effects. What are you going to do, stand still in a naval battle?

I don't know. He died before he could tell me. There's only one dragon left, and he's an asshole that killed all the other dragons, so that's probably it. There was also a dragon civil war four hundred years ago that ties in.
