I'm to understand that marriage customs here are a bit different than what I'm used to. Or at least that seems to be the case. It's taken rather seriously, isn't it? I didn't realize as such when I signed all these contracts, that's for certain. I wouldn't say I'm asking for advice as such, as I'm quite certain I'm capable of managing my own affairs, but I'd appreciate if anyone has anything to share about any more strange issues regarding this sort of thing that I might expect to encounter in the future.
[In other words, he's an idiot.]

[you poor, poor man]
[voice]
[He really, really doesn't get it.]
[voice]
[whoops almost let that slip]
...uh. You mean the Eternal Bliss people?
[voice]
[This is why you shouldn't drunk marry people.]
[voice]
Wait, did you get married more than once? You, yourself, you're not talking about someone on your crew or anything?
[voice]
[Most of the crew can't marry anyone, seeing as they're already married to him.]
[voice]
Wow. I didn't take you for the type to like the married life so much, Motochika. Congrats.

[That's how it came about, really.]
There was a lot of ceremony and fuss about my first marriage back in June, but that was to get at the treasure on Eternal Bliss so I assumed it was just their local nonsense. So there's usually a ceremony?
[Voice]
[Well that's special on so many levels.]
Most of the time there is a ceremony, but it is mostly for show. The legally binding part of a marriage is the signing of a contract of sorts. A marriage is still official if there is no ceremony but the contract is signed.
At least that is usually how things are done back in my home world.
[Voice]
[Considering the first time he was married here was just a ploy to get at treasure and all the subsequent times happened when he was too drunk to remember anything.]
[voice]
Or maybe you should just stop marrying every single person you come across and spare everyone the headache.
[Which, okay, isn't the worst that could happen to a person (as he's already admitted based on personal experience), but. This is really getting out of hand. While Ragna's always found Kodachi's fixation with marriage strange, this is a whole new level.]
[voice]
[Just...a few. People keep letting him do it, after all. If there's some sort of limit, surely someone will inform him of it at some point.]
Is there supposed to be some sort of ranking amongst wives? You'll not maintain your standing with an attitude like that.
[voice]
This is unacceptable.]
The hell─?! Screw you, I make a great wife!!
[... He got so worked up he sort of missed the meaning of what he's just said, um.]
[voice]
[Oh yeah, they're going there. It's time for one of their trademark mature, reasonable discussions of their situation.]
[voice]
[Okay, but what exactly are the characteristic traits of a perfect wife? And which ones does he possess? And most importantly, why is he even thinking about something like that?!
It is a mystery.]
... Er, I'm, uh...
[He's gonna regret this, he knows it. Hell, a part of him already regrets this, but there's no way he can back down now. Logic has long since left the building.]
... faithful?
[voice]
I suppose that might be one word for it. Unless you're saying someone's tried to tempt you from my side and you resisted, which I'm fairly certain I'd remember.
[If it happened and he missed it, he's going to be greatly disappointed.]
[voice]
[On second thought, he probably doesn't need to know Ragna used their marriage as an excuse to try and get rid of some rather... insistent ladies back on Deesuko Ballia.]
... never mind.
