With talks of people leaving and how it effects everyone, it's got me thinking about something.

For me the friends I make are the what I would call my world. If a friend of mine were to die or in this worlds case disappear suddenly that would devastate me. So, I guess I'm just noticing that I might not be the only one who is like this.

So do you see your friends and family as what your world is about? Or what is the world to you?

My world is what I know, am familiar with and understand. The people I know are part of that but I would much rather have them be where they belong than here.

You mean it's better back home than here, right?

Yes. Though I understand there are those whose worlds are quite the opposite, and for those I am sorry that they had to return when they did not wish to.

I assume that would mean you wish to return home, right?

Of course. There are those I care about left behind, and it is the world I belong in and understand.

I see. I'm glad that there are people that care for friends that are still back home.

Are there people who do not?

I believe there could be some, but I wouldn't know for certain. After all we are all different.

We may all be, but I feel it would be safe to say that everyone has at least someone they miss.

That's good, I suppose. I mean it would be odd if someone didn't miss someone.

But I guess being here makes that more so if the people you miss aren't here.

I guess. My village was my world.

[bloodheels]

That's nice. What was your village like?

[theaxeeffect]

Oh, it's still there. And it's still the center of my world, it's just... that world's bigger now.

[bloodheels]

The worlds bigger now? What exactly do you mean by that? Was it not so big before or something?

[theaxeeffect]

Well, no... I guess it's more "my" world than "the" world. I didn't leave my village much, until about five years ago.

[bloodheels]

I see. That actually makes sense now that you say it. But I do like the fact that where your from is the centre of your world. I think that's nice.

[theaxeeffect]

It's not the same for you?

[bloodheels]

Mine is rather small to some people. it's like I know the world is much bigger but to me, no matter what it's the people I know that make the world.

Well... but is that the world, or your world? Because my world wouldn't be anything without the people I know, either. I think most people are like that.

[bloodheels]

I know someone who is more than willing to save everybody, be it someone they know or not. So I guess they have different standards of what the world is than you or me.

But I never thought people would think the same as me though.

...Well, so would I, if that was a choice and it didn't jeopardize the people I care about. You wouldn't?

[bloodheels]

I fight for my friends, if they were in trouble I'd help them. It isn't so much that I would help people I didn't know though.

[theaxeeffect]

Why not?

Experiences, I guess that and I don't know the world, but I know my friends.

[In truth? It's his family that matters to him. Enough to call them his world, or whatever. But that can't be said without any bitterness. After all, what else has he known? Other than the people he calls family are users and thieves. Just like him. Difference is, he was never apart of the family for any other reason than to be better than their enemies.

Plus, there's that whole being raised to be selfish shtick he's got going. Honestly, it's no wonder he can easily say:]

Me, myself, and I!

[He sounds a bit hyper. And he is. A result of sitting on his hands too long.]

[She pauses for a moment. She felt a little sad that someone seemed to have only themselves in the world.]

So... There was no one you would consider special.

[Remy has to think about it for a moment actually. Which is probably sad too. He's not used to having who and what he values examined, even by himself. He's nowhere near that sad. Yet.]

...There's definitely a someone in that category currently. But just one.

[And oh boy, is Rogue a someone or what.]

Just one. Who is that then?

[She had to admit she was a little bit curious.]

The death of my friend would be devastating, I'm not sure who'd I be without him.

That said,I don't view the comings and goings of people on this world to be on the same level. I'm used to friends going off on their own for ages at a time. As for all of us Jones has brought here our destinies are back where we came from.

I know friends come and go but... In this world we can never be sure they'll ever come back. That's kind of what gets me a little sad.

Your still young. [ He's a bit wistful, he's seem to many people set off never to return.] It is always a little sad.

I'm not that young.

[She knew it was sad, she wouldn't want her friends to ever leave honestly. But she did accept that it happened sometimes.]

But I guess people get use to it... Or don't they ever?
