[his voice sounds a little squished]

It's Zoro's birthday!! Everyone should give him stuff! Like booze and meat! But if you don't know what kinda booze a lot of meat is okay.

Also this island is pretty fun. Everyone should come! Ahh, and if anyone does I'm kind of stuck and these walls are pretty heavy. Nghh. [scraping sounds as he tries to inch a little closer toward the light and for anyone who stops by, have a captain squished between two walls that seem to want to close on him. At the end of the hall is a leg of meat which got out of his grip and he is slowly finger walking his hand to it. ]

Stupid walls.

...yeah, all right. Maybe if he gets warm enough he'll go find somewhere else to sleep and stop clawing me up.

haha His claws are tiny. How much can they hurt? [thinks] Or is Zoro's stomach just ticklish?

[side-eyes him like get that idea out of your head right now, Luffy]

[he plods across the deck to find a nice sunny spot, dragging Luffy with him, and stretches out with his back to the railing]

Guess this'll kill time until the cook gets lunch ready.

[What idea? Thiis idea? and he pokes at Zoro's stomach. wriggles a hand under the haramaki and tries it that way. Nothing sneaky about this face, not at all]

[slaps at that hand because GET OUT OF THERE. Between 'no that's only for the cook' and a wriggly kitten who doesn't like to be woken up from his nap, there is so much nope under that haramaki that doesn't even begin to approach the possibility of being ticklish.]

Shishishishi That's awesome. [moves his hand out. For now. But now he knows. Be prepared]

Don't even think about it. If you wake Blue up, he'll tear us both to shreds.

And then I'll kick your ass on top of that.

Boooo [slides down to look up at him. Huffing.] You get to have all the fun. Jerk. Idiot. Santoryuu.

[pokes him in the forehead]

Course I do. It's my birthday. I get all the fun and you don't.

'Sides, this nap is your idea.

[moar cheek puffing. Zoro is right but he doesn't have to like it. Which he doesn't.]

I'm not sleepy.

[but he's not moving either]

Na, tell me something cool.

[raises an eyebrow at him]

[he doesn't know anything cool, Luffy. Look who you're talking to.]

I dunno. Do you know anything cool?

[he knows who he's talking to]

Nothin' you don't already know. [there's a trace of a smile at the corner of his mouth] All the cool stuff I've seen has been since I've been sailing with you.

Shishishishi [that makes him happy. He rolls onto his back , resting his head on Zoro's leg and streeetches before folding his hands behind his head and smiling] Then it's pretty lucky you got lost that one time, huh?

[snorts a bit. Lucky that he got lost?]

I'd say the lucky day was when you and Coby came to that Marine base.

[well if Zoro had managed to find home again, maybe he would have wanted to stay. But then again, maybe not]

Yeah, that was great. [he pulls the hat up and over his eyes a bit, prepping for the nap and drowsily contented in the sun]

I wonder if I'll see him again.

[alas, Luffy doesn't know that he left home on purpose. But it doesn't matter. Zoro thinks of the chance encounter on Water 7 with a smile of his own.]

Something tells me we will. Dunno when, but the fun is in the surprise.

[the weight against him, and the comfy position, with a warm kitten on his stomach, makes him yawn widely.]

Yeah... [he yawns himself and then settles down for a cozy nap]
