If we continue to pursue our own agendas with no dialogue with other crews, we're going to continue being directionless and unsuccessful in achieving any ends we've set ourselves. What needs to happen is a meeting to discuss going forward or we won't go forward at all.

I propose that each crew send a representative or representatives to a location to be determined at a time we will discuss. Replies can be set to private if you would prefer, but this needs to be arranged if progress is to be made.

I don't expect a large turnout, but we'll take advantage of it however we can. It's the best course of action.

Well of course. Let's be blunt, some of these crews are stubborn idiots when it comes to any form of mutual cooperation towards a common goal. However, I agree that this is, by far, the better solution as opposed to total anarchy.

That's a possibility. I'm not making any proposals until all parties have had a chance to speak.

It's an ambitious idea. Considering how people react when anyone uses the journal to ask for advice or cooperation, you're gonna have an uphill battle.

It's not a bad idea either, but I can tell you right now, my captain does his own thing no matter what. It's a bad habit of his.

We are pirate in the eyes of the law. What you think of it matters little. You will still be treated as such.

This notion of yours has been tried on several occasions. What usually occurs is several of the less agreeable pirates will appear to berate you for daring to interfere with their freedoms even if by working as a group they lose nothing and have the potential to gain a great deal.

But I share your desire for a more sustainable position and see no harm in meeting to discuss our goals. Any thoughts on when you would like this meeting to be?

There are any number of uninhabited islands that would serve the purpose. It would probably be wise to rely more on the Navs and have a minimum of our ships moored on the island. The Katabami's Nav can be used more often than a regular Nav, so transportation arrangements will be easier if I can work out an arrangement with her captain.

I know there are several crews that won't participate. They can be dealt with as necessary in the future.

Of course. All it takes is one single person crew with one shard to change the course of our future. None hold them at the moment, but there's no reason why that won't always be the case.

Any interest would be worth the effort. If crews refuse to attend, they're still making their intentions clear in a way.

I feel there are those who will make this more of an issue than it should be. I feel first before figuring out a method of cooperation we must figure a way to keep those of troublesome nature at a disadvantage, and then gain favor with those who are amenable.

Exactly, and this exercise should clear up who is in what camp. It's clear enough already that the crews led by those from one particular world are determined to undermine anything they perceive as being done by an "outsider," regardless of what it is or how it might affect them.
