[All that could be heard right away is the sound of heavy breathing. It was obvious that they were more than a little scared, in fact after a few minutes Finnian could be heard speaking.]

Is anyone else having their worst nightmare come true?

[He goes quiet as the sound of footsteps could be heard in the background getting closer and closer before passing and getting much quieter. Once they seemed to have gone he speaks up and almost sounding like he's going to cry.]

I don't want them to take me away... I don't want to be experimented on again. [He sniffs slightly.]

To my crew mates, if you hear this please stay safe. [It wasn't long until the footsteps are back and a scream could be heard from Finny before the journal goes quiet.]

[It was a god thirty minutes before he managed to get back onto his journal. Running away and hiding from his nightmare is hard work when you live on a ship.]

Um... It's nothing. Ahha. [He figured he shouldn't have said that, but given what they did to him... it seemed obvious to say.] It's just I don't like the men who are after me. They aren't very nice and like to do things.

I-I believe so. [Just when you see someone in a white coat one assumes.]

I'm hiding from them right now, but they might find me again.

You should just go on a boat, lure them to you, punch a hole in the boat, and then swim back to your ship.

I don't think we have boats...Nor do I actually understand how that would work.

Well, you'd leave them on the boat so they sink, of course.

But wouldn't that require two boats to pull off?

[He pauses for a moment as once more footsteps can be heard.]

Just one if you can swim away and fast while they can't.

I've never really swam much before, so I think I would dro...

[He stops talking suddenly as he goes quiet. He knows the people who are looking for him are close so he wanted to stay quiet just in case.]

Don't worry, they're just illusions. Noone's gonna experiment on you.

[But he knew that was a lie and it really felt like a lie right now as he felt the needle go into his skin.]

I would believe you if it didn't hurt.

I know it hurts but it won't actually injure you. You're gonna be ok.
