That aside, have any other crews given thought to setting up shop on an island? It's quite difficult to get done what I'd like to get done with this constant sailing from place to place with nowhere to return to. A pirate needs a proper base, after all.

I suppose any amount of protection we could scrape up wouldn't hurt. There weren't so many of us aboard this time last year and we mostly made do with hiding like cowards.

No, no, you sing and play instruments, and then it's recorded for future listening. You can do that for several songs, of course, which is why I'd like a jukebox or a gramophone.

Of course I will! There's nothing in the world that I can't build. I could probably rig up the machine itself if I knew how it was supposed to work. It'll take research, of course, but we've nothing but time. I check my charts and see if I can figure out where that island is.
