I don't suppose any of you lot has ever kept a parrot before? Is there any way to, er, unteach something once they've learned it?

That aside, have any other crews given thought to setting up shop on an island? It's quite difficult to get done what I'd like to get done with this constant sailing from place to place with nowhere to return to. A pirate needs a proper base, after all.

They don't unlearn anything, but if you only give positive reinforcement for other things they'll grow out of it.

So don't reward whatever phrase you don't like with food or scritches. Instead, teach other things, reward those. Kind of the same as puppies and babies really.

[Maybe the lesson is never let Marco babysit, because he will treat them like parrots.]
