It's that time of the year again, dear patrons, so I've taken it upon myself to procure some goods for you lot that might ease your way a bit. Rush delivery is available at no extra cost, so don't hesitate to spend as freely as you'd like. It's your safety on the line after, all! I've been devoting a great deal of time and effort to buying up the best charms, amulets, books of black magic, histories of ghosts and ghoulies, and tinfoil hats from here to Cahawba. Don't say Margie never does anything for you!

This month: Buy one get one free on all warding charms and amulets! We can't guarantee their efficacy, but we can guarantee you as many as you'd like!

As always, dear patrons, all transactions are private. However, if you'd like to send supplies to another ship in a pinch, gift receipt options are available upon request! Also, don't forget our main store on Isla Empieza! You lot haven't been darkening my doorstep much of late and I'm starting to feel a bit lonely.

Also, we will be returning to Isla Empieza around the middle of November, and I was curious whether you were in need of any supplies. I know you asked a favor of Hikaru Hitachiin some time ago, so I thought perhaps you might need something else now.

Convenient timing as always, Miss Margie. I was just saying I needed additional spellbooks.

You provided me with texts covering up through seventh year, but I was wondering if you had any advanced seventh year Defense Against the Dark Arts books? Perhaps something they only keep in the Restricted Section at Hogwarts?

And if you have any books on Animagi, I'll take those off your hands, too.

It'll be 10 doubloons for the amulets. As for supplies, it all depends on where you're bound. There's always a thing or two I need.

10 doubloons for spellbooks, same as ever, and 15 for the rarer ones. Any topics you have in mind? I'm not so sure about flipping through what's in the chest in the back room of the shop, but I can risk a finger or two if there's money in it. I think I may have a companion book to the last Animagi book I sold you, or at least one with a animal of some sort on the cover.

I'll have my usual order of bombs and toxins, please. Oh, and a jukebox.

So my crew needs a few things...actually a lot of things. A crate of your best men's winter wear and a crate of your best women's winter wear. My captain doesn't really know what a shirt is so I don't want him freezing to death, and our mermaid turned human so she needs actual clothes.

Anyway, we also need amulets. It's buy one get one free right? So we'll be getting ten. We'll also be ordering one of every new book you have, including those black magic ones and if you have cook books, toss then in a separate box and label them "for Lea" if you could.

Uhmm...what else...[ she checks her list. ] Oh! Two bottles of wine from Wu. Captain said he got some from you. They come in gourd bottles.

Aaaand razz berries, not raspberries, razz berries. Also poffins if you have some.

Ever heard the saying, "curiosity killed the cat"? It ain't limited to just felines, y'know.

Those look like they'll be single doubloon bottles. I'll ship them out as soon as I can get them in stock and you can pay the seagull upon delivery as usual. I'd recommend leaving it a nice tip, though, since glass bottles can be a touch difficult to deliver and if you're of a mind to order more later, you'll want them all intact.

Making threats is likely to get your discount revoked, sir.

Ma'am, are you intending all of this to be delivered? If you wish it all to arrive at roughly the same time, the delivery surcharge on top of what it would cost to fill the entire order might well bankrupt your crew. I'm looking at a price of around 250 doubloons, not counting the books you've requested, candy, or delivery. That's a pretty penny to transport by seagull and I'm reluctant to do so.

There's no need to worry about my crew, Ms. Margie. We have enough money to pay for all of this plus transport and such. But if your delivery service can't handle all of it, I'd be happy to pick up some of the things myself. We're in no rush to receive our orders anyway.

The books that aren't marked "for Lea" and the candy, when we come to an agreement as to what I'll actually be getting, I can personally pick up myself. But the clothes, the cookbooks, the wine and the razz berries need to be sent to the Nightfury.

Very well, then. As for the books, I have quite a few in stock with more coming in every day. "One of each" is quite the haul and not at all inexpensive. Books of black magic are 10 doubloons a piece, for example.

Alright then, I guess I should be more specific. I'll take some black magic books, that "histories of ghosts and ghoulies", and could you toss in whatever you have on world history, mythology and books that focus on the different islands? Just enough books to fill a crate. I'm the only one who reads them anyway. Again, don't worry about the price.

Indeed, it is. I would like to inquire if it's possible to have our ship cleansed and warded from further spiritual attacks.

The companion book would be brilliant. I need as much help as I can get with that particular endeavor.

DADA books, I'm looking for...well, more. I feel it's prudent to learn as many defensive and offensive spells here as I can. ...Do you have any books on Dark Magic, actually? Skip the 'Defense Against' part.

I'm also looking for some supplies to start setting up a potions lab now. I'll need a standard potions kit like what they sell back home. They usually include basic plant ingredients and things such as glass phials and weighing scales. And I'll need a cauldron, too.

So! The Animagi companion book, maybe one or two books on Dark Arts, and potions supplies. What would that come to?

70 for the lot sound reasonable? I'll throw in as much with the potions kit as I can dig up around the shop, seeing as you're such a reliable repeat customer.

Pirates are a superstitious lot, so you're likely to find someone at any port selling such services, but if you want someone reliable, I'd recommend seeking out someone on Cahawba or, frankly, crossing your fingers and hoping for the best. Of course, there's always buying charms straight from yours truly...

550 for that, then and 100 for delivery and you've yet to tell me what I'm supposed to be providing by way of candy, Your Highness.

I could possibly get my hands on a box of Queen's Emerald Label chocolates from Isla Mutatio. No man could buy them for himself and few women would ever see the opportunity. The Hidden Queen's personal chocolatier herself makes a select few assortments available to the general public yearly and those are usually bought up by people on the island who have been waiting years for the opportunity. I have connections, of course, but it won't be at all inexpensive even for me. 1000 doubloons.

[ She goes quiet for a bit. That fact that she's seriously thinking about spending 1000 doubloons for him, she must really like this guy. But then, just because she has access to it, doesn't mean she should actually do it. She'd fail as a quartermaster.

But, out of curiosity, if I were to order those special emerald label chocolates, how long would the wait be to actually get it?

If you knew how stingy he is with his money, you'd know that that might as well be hundreds to him.

I hope, for his sake, that they work.

Emerald Labels usually get put out around holidays, so as soon as the latter half of this month if I'm exceedingly lucky. More likely you'll see them in December or February. It's hard to know for certain, especially when I've not been paid in advance.

As for Her Grace's chocolate coins, will the same ones I sell to the lesser crowds be sufficient for her discerning tastes?

I'll keep that in mind then.
