[voice entry, backdated to the 17th]
[As always, Thash's entry is in voice rather than writing... He's not so good at writing. However one might question why when they hear how weak and tired yet obviously pissed off his voice sounds]
Anyone out there meet the Corpse King.... Do me a favor and freaking kill him. Painfully. I've lost enough dang friends recently.... [first Dave and Gene vanish, and now this? It was too much] and that piece of crap had to go adding to the number. Seriously, make him wish he was dead and kill him.
[okay, that was enough of that. He didn't have the energy to go on an energetic rant... He'd just woken up from a few hours of deep exhaustion-induced sleep thanks to being poisoned. A sleep that probably would have been rather more permanent if not for the efforts of a certain crew member]
[What he said next was private to Grell]
Hey, Captain....you might've found this out already but in case you haven't.... [a miserable sigh] Katarina is dead. The Corpse King killed her.

[he still felt like complete crap and couldn't keep that out of his voice. But at least he didn't feel like he was dying anymore]
....thanks for asking. That's nice of you.
[seriosuly. He could get used to having people that cared. That was pretty cool]

[hes not sure what he'd do with it, but he sorta likes skulls]
Yeah, guess I'm feeling well enough for visitors now. I don't think our nav's been used in a long time either so you should be able to come and go whenever

Hey, Yasaburo. It's really nice of you to come by... You wanna come in?

Huh. This is cool... [Yasaburo was right, Thash would have thought he was uncommonly nice if he thought he brought it for the heck of it. He tended to get suspicious of overly nice people... a bad habit carried on from his life in his home world]
What animal is this from? Oh, and sorry um... you want anything to eat or drink? [He remembered someone telling him long ago that you should offer guests food and drink when they visit. He didn't exactly get guests often though so he'd almost forgotten]

Got anything that's not standard ship far? I think if I eat any more salt pork or mandatory lemons, I'll die.
no subject
Mischievous huh? I like it. [and it seemed fitting since Yasaburo seemed to Thash to be the mischievous type]
I usually keep a good stock of fresh seafood on the ship, but since I've been out of commission for a while, all we've got is standard stuff. However I'm feeling pretty good right now, and in the mood for some fish myself...if ya give me 20 minutes I could probably catch and cook us some kind of fish.

He's fairly bouncing in anticipation. Ever since he met Thash, he's wanted to see him hunt but doesn't want to seem like he's stereotyping.

[He took his pants off, leaving him in in just his tight black swimming shorts. He'd then head up to the deck with Yasaburo and walk up to the railing, ready to dive over]
what'll you turn into?
no subject
He stood at the railing, not at all ready to dive but willing to try it anyway. "How's thiiiis?" he called in midair, poofing into Coelocanth form. He hit the water with a not at all graceful splash.
no subject
Whoa... I've been in a lot of bodies of water and seen a ton of aquatic life...and I don't think I've ever seen a fish like that. [interestingly, his voice could be heard very clearly underwater unlike the muffled, unclear speech that would come from a human in such a place] whatever it is, it's pretty cool... So let's see if we can find some fish.
[he turned and started swimming, his motion underwater completely different from how he moved on land. He didn't use his arms or legs much, and his tail seemed to push him through the water almost effortlessly]

"I just saw it at the same island." He says, not nearly so distinct but hopefully understandable. "Anyway I figured you'd be less likely to catch me by accident in this form." You know, cause it's ugly.

Let's see what we've got down here....
[if Yasabro had never been in open water in the middle of the ocean, he'd find it rather open and barren compared to water near a shore. At first glance, everything around them seemed a nearly uniform blue with nothing to break up the monotony. But looking around for a while they'd start to see distant, hazy shapes in the water. Fish, or whales, it was hard to tell the size and shape of sealife from a distance. Thash kept swimming ahead though, and soon a blurry shape out in front of them would start to grow and clarify into a school of fish. The closer they got, the more they'd be able to tell the fish were a good size for lunch]
Those look pretty good to you? I should be able to catch a couple.
Voice
Gladly. [Was all he said at first, and he meant it. He would be glad to remove a corrupt force such as the corpse king. Although the man had done little to them during the race, he obviously was not a friend either. There was just something about the man that instinctively rubbed him the wrong way]
no subject
[Since his reply came a while after the initial entry, Thash was feeling well enough to chat a bit] How've you been by the way?
no subject
[It was a relief to know that his friend on a distant ship was in slightly better spirits than when he first sent this] I am not even sure where to begin. [A sigh] We have run into a few... difficulties ourselves.
no subject
[though the man on the other side of the journal would to be able to see it, Thash frowned in concern as he mentioned difficulties]
Really....we've been 'sailing some rough seas' ourselves lately so it's been hard to keep up with current events. What's happened?
