It's rare that I find myself surprised by anything, but I believe this takes the prize. I'm curious as to how any particular individual, or even group, managed to tear me away from the Void, let alone into another plane of existence. There is of course the matter of returning, but I am in no great hurry--I would rather speak with those responsible for my current situation.

( The paper transcribes a faint hum. )

Those with insight into the matter, responsible or not, are welcome to voice their opinion. I imagine my wait may be longer than is convenient by traditional standards.

I am known as the Outsider, although I doubt the title carries much weight in this world. I look forward to seeing what you all have to offer.

I would not go so far as to say that either. It is a needed role, and I am qualified to perform it with efficiency. It is not particularly entertaining, but it is not annoying either.

I enjoy my crew and would rather we function properly. There are other things I can do that I enjoy, so it is not as if my entire life is dreary.

I am most interested in returning as soon as possible, but I would not say desperate.

I do not feel it would be forever, and though I would like to return home as soon as possible, I can afford to wait. A year is not very long all considered, I will be more concerned in five or ten.

To some, but I already experienced a full life, and gained more past that. I can at least be a little patient when striving forward. It would be harder if it were simply nothing more than waiting.
