Not to sound paranoid or anything but the last magically enchanted diary I wrote in that could write back tried to kill me so I'm just a bit skeptic.

But, I suppose this is as good a place as any to ask, where exactly am I?

Hey, fifth year is ahead of us simple mortals without any training. All the magic I can conjure is the magic of television, and even that isn't that often.

I'll let the wind guide us wherever it wants to go.

Isn't sailing all about the adventure? Letting nature decide where you're meant to go! Becoming one with the sea! Closing your eyes and moving forward!! In that sort of journey - I will be the best captain you could want!

I could be wrong, but I think you actually have to know how to sail to be a good captain.

Not when it comes to possibly drowning in the middle of the ocean, no.

I haven't even started my fifth year yet, I haven't learned that one and I'm not really much a swimmer-or a swimmer at all, really. So I don't see that going over well.

So what spells CAN you do? Can you at least make desserts appear?

Several. But nothing too advanced. And no, I have't learn to make desserts appear.

Any chance you're gonna learn that soon? Nobody here sells anything remotely sweet.

Probably not. I don't have any spell books with me.

Then what good is it that you're a wizard if you can't even make up your own spells? What, are you gonna install a program in my computer instead? Are you that kind of wizard?
