5th Sky Journey 🐺 An update 🐺 [Written]

Things seem to be back to normal here.

[The message seemed to be more for his own records than for anything else. He'd given it a few extra days in case anything more came of it, but nothing had.]

I can now see all the crew members clearly, and all the memories are no longer hazy.

[He clarified. He wasn't going into much detail, but just enough to reference it]

Interesting little distraction. It makes one wonder just whom was behind it all. Surely all of these odd occurrences are not simply quirks of the world we are on.

There have not been explanations for everything that has occured here, so I am not expecting this to be any different.

At the question, his head bobbed slightly to the right before pen found its way back to paper. A quiet acknowledgment of what Connor may already have been aware of. ]

I did make the error in grabbing Ban's shoulder when he was under the spell. As you say, what I lost seems to have been returned with no lasting ill effects.

I believe you might have appreciated the curse's sense of irony. For the entire week I could not remember Charles's name.

An easy mistake to make.

I was referring to my own experience in that instance. [About the memories being hazy. Ratonhnhaké:ton had made the mistake of coming into contact with one of you lot, and his memory had been slightly compromised] So for you, they were just completely missing?

They were. I had completely forgotten who Elissa was for one. Any conversation I had I couldn't recall. Even in conversations with her name I forgot. It was not the best thing in the world.

No, it does not sound like it would have been a nice experience.

It wasn't, but at least it was only temporary and not permanent. I don't think I could of handle that permanently.

I wonder what caused it in the first place... but then again nothing in this land makes sense.

I'm not sure, I mean I know on the day I forgot there was something that... How do I put it.... cocooned me or something like that. I couldn't sleep at the time so that's why I noticed.

That is very... odd. This is the first I have heard of this. Clearly, I have not been asking the others the right questions. Whatever it was was able to pinpoint your location and the locations of the others without arousing suspicion. [It's unsettling]

I'm sure it's just how curses work normally. After all those seem to happen over night. It's just unsettling as to the effects of this one.

So it would seem. I wish whatever or whoever was behind these "curses" would face us directly.. then they could get a taste of my hidden blades.
