You should find someone who'll write to you. Maybe like once a week? Someone who can help correct your mistakes and also practice new things.

It's not quite as good as a teacher, but it would probably help.

You learn to improve with time. I was grateful to have a very good teacher help me though, but even then it took me sometime.
