There is one thing since arriving here that I wish I could do with these people.

Give them some soap and maybe a bucket of water. They really could do with a good bath... or two. Maybe more. The smell is quite overpowering and it's totally not cool.

Depends on what men you end up with, sweet lady. There are plenty of rookies here from what I've seen, but a few sailors here and there.

I admit that I could do with a bath, but when you are at sea, you must give up certain luxuries. Fresh water is something to be carefully guarded and we even have to lace ours with a bit of rum in order to help keep it potable and to make it taste less than stale. I enjoy a good bath whenever we make port, but days or even weeks can pass between such stops.

Let me assure you - smelly sailors are not always smelly by choice.

You can, but remember that sea water has a lot of salt. Too many leaps into the water may dry out your skin and that will not help at all, if the weather is hot.

Also keep in mind that we've been warned of monsters. A member of my own crew killed such a creature this very day.

I know how you feel, and I really miss showers. There's only so much you can do about it at sea, though.
