[There isn't much to begin with except a list of what appears to be ingredients. As for why he's written all this on the journal it was no reason, he is kind of bored while trying to think about what he wanted to write in the first place.

It wasn't long before he actually writes something.]

I haven't been here long, but I couldn't help but think of the various islands we come across to be like various worlds. After all they are all different from one another even if they are under the same sky. It's quite fascinating really. This got me to thinking about everyone's worlds here. Were they at all similar to any of the islands we've come across or not?

I ask mostly out of boredom, which brings me to my second question of what do people do on their ships when not working? I can lounge around like the best of them, but there's only so much of that I can do.

No. Although I can enjoy a nice cup of tea right now if I wanted.

Guh... I lack the gumption to yell at you over slacking... A cup of tea sounds more than nice.

It is a nice way to relax next to alcohol. But it's a bit too early for that.

Respect is listening to and honoring the comforts of those around you. You have offered me no such thing.

I thought respect had something to do with admiration. The more you know.

[He maybe lying about not knowing what it meant, but in a sense not being respectful is the perfect way to keep a distance, especially after the talk he had with a companion before he wound up here. he had wondered if he should change tactics slightly.]

Hmph... Still, for a good cup of tea, I suppose I could stand to be around a knave like you.

You can simply ignore me if you want, but then I might be doing some baking to go with tea.

Not really like my home colony. Tech level is a bit higher in my time, and the architecture reflects that.

Hm...Well, I suppose when I'm not working the armory, I like to brush up on my cooking skills. Oh, lots of drinking, too. I also like to fish.

So your world is really advanced then?

[He's been to a world like that, probably not the same one but still.]

But I already cook on board, but drinking sounds alright, even if it is early. [Not even going to touch the fish comment, all he does is shiver.]

Compared to this? Hell yeah. The only sailing we do is on solar winds.

So I assume you use something like a flying ship?

In my experience, all islands are a little bit different. Even the most mundane. Everything has something to offer. [some less than others]

I haven't really been here long enough to notice such a difference yet, but thank you for telling me.

You mean with me asking what to do on board? I've never actually been on a ship like this before so I have little to no clue of what to do when I've done my work.

Cloudbank and this world are as different as can be.

So there are no similarities to any place we've been too so far? I had kind of hoped that to be an answer.

Cloudbank was a very advanced city, and it was always changing. There's not much here really reminds me of it.

An advanced city you say? Explain to me how it's advanced? Colour me curious.

Bright lights, fast vehicles, tall buildings, a vast and complex network that stretched all throughout the streets...

You don't see any of that here.

That is true and I've seen places that could go as far as flying machines, but nothing of the like exists here.

It means odds are there won't be much similarities if most worlds as as advanced like yours.

It doesn't necessarily bother me. Each world has its own appeal.

That I do admit is going to be fun about this. All worlds or islands in this case will be so different. They will be fun exploring.

Maybe when we get to the next island we can explore together.

I wouldn't say no to that.
