[There's nothing but silence at first before the sound of splashing water can soon be heard. The journal gets soaking wet, which also means the current page being broadcasted does as well. But the journal is quickly and hastily picked up and in a poor attempt, the pages are dried rather quickly and it shows. There's finally a sigh and a familiar voice is heard, it sounds more worried than usual]

Hello? Sorry to be a bother, but...I'm on a deserted island somewhere out in the ocean and I have no idea where I am. I'm going to need some help.

[The message is intended more for the Spades, but Asami doesn't even bother using the private function]

Yeah, she's here. You know what happened to her? Was it while we were running around Stela?

Sort of? [But not really] Ace, I went back home and I'm thinking Korra did too. It's a long story...but I'll fill you in later.

[Not a good answer, but then--there were other things to worry about.]

Alright. Anyway, you're sure you're on a deserted island? There aren't any ships or villages around?

[She shook her head at the journal, not really caring that it couldn't be seen]

Nothing. I'm just surrounded by plant life and birds. [A beat] Sorry, I know that's not very helpful.

Ahhhh. Well, that's better than I thought. Fortunately, direction isn't really an issue.

[He frowned inwardly, knowing Luffy wouldn't be happy if he ran off--so, Luffy was probably going to tag along for all he knew.]

I'll have to go get you, then. Someone's gonna have to be in charge, since I'm the only one who can use the Striker without bowling it over.

[Asami, on the other hand, manages to smile a little at that]

No that's fine. I'm grateful that someone is even coming to get me, so take your time.

No worries. If I know where to go, there's no point in makin' you wait.

[Ace huffed and picked himself up, beginning to write a second message elsewhere.] Mind if I ask you something?

[She sounded a bit surprised when she said that]

[Oh she considered everyone on the Spades good friends too, but her friends from home were probably the people she considered the closet]

Naturally. The Doctor upgraded it from the design I gave him, so it uses my flames even better!

[That was to say, Ace had pride in not only himself, but the crew-mates who worked for him.]

I never got the chance to meet The Doctor, but it sounds like he did a great job on it.

Hmmm. Well, he'd have definitely chatted you up. He didn't chat with me much, but he always did make time for pretty women.
