[opens the journal to both let Ace know what he's going to do and everyone else]

Yo. I'm going to go help Ace! You don't gotta come if you don't want, but anyone who wants to have fun should come party at Dekoku Balls when it's all over!

If you do come to help, you better be ready to fight as hard as you can.

[he's thought about it, and he really doesn't know. Not that it matters. If it means the end of their fun, so be it. He'll have a stronger cook at his side regardless.

[Luffy knows how Zoro feels things. He didn't really get it before... that kind of thing. It was like a game --but it's not really, because things change and things are tricky. It's a scary thing to lose that closeness but he knows Zoro will and not say anything about it because of who he is]

[but he also knows Sanji, too. And two years is a long time to be apart, but it doesn't matter with them. Two years. Ten years. They'll always find a way to be back together and Sanji has too big a heart to let things go]

Maybe it'll be hard, but it'll be fine. [bumps shoulders with him] Trust each other, na?

[Sanji's feelings and his own]

[he nods silently. There has never not been trust between them, even before all of this.]

I'm not worried about it being hard. That's how life is.

[nudge nudge. Nothing more to say really but to just see what happens. But it'll be okay so he won't really worry about it. So he nudges again and nudges some more and does an extra hard nudge with a touch of haki to try to knock Zoro over]

[Psh, you dork, what are you doing there? Zoro doesn't need haki to resist, he holds firm and then loops his arm around Luffy's neck to put him in a headlock.

Look out hat, it's noogie time]

[you can't noogie if his foot is blocking your fist, can you? Nope! Your move broccoli head!]

[ack, rubber foot denial! Fine, he'll find another route. Maybe grab that foot and pull until the sandal comes off...]

Oi! [that's his sandal! He laughs] Hey, give it back! [reaches for]

[gives it back right in his face]

Here, I didn't want your stinky shoe anyway.

Jerk! [don't put his shoe in his face! That's gross! But he's mostly just amused as he wraps his leg around Zoro's arm to keep it in place and tries to return the present of shoe in face]

I'm gonna squash you like a bug!

Like a bug, huh? I'll just pull you back and snap you off like a rubber band.

[augh, stinky Luffy sandal, gross!]

Shishishi try it.

[but he stops giving him a sandal in face and headbutts him instead but not hard. He remembers that's supposed to be a good thing between them but he can't remember why]

[that stops his struggling, because ow. It's not bad, no, but still, Luffy headbutts are not soft and fluffy. Zoro blinks and then snorts, and lets go of his rubbery neck.]

Back to doing that, huh? I see how ya are.

hahaha but it's a good thing right? [clambers about until he's sitting on Zoro's shoulders, because what's the use of a Zoro if you can't ride him when you wanted]

We've got a lot of work to do but we should definitely have fun, too, na. And find all the exciting places. So you better not go anywhere cool without me.

Psh, like I would. We're just gonna go to the island you want, and wait there for you. There's still plenty of rum on board to keep me entertained till you get back.

[gives one leg a smack. Don't worry, Luffy.]

[drums his heels against Zoro's shoulders absently.] I wonder what it's like... You can't tell me if you get there ahead of me. But if there's anything cool, make sure I find out about it.

Don't accidentally marry anyone. [but he's teasing]

Heh! No way. Accident or on purpose, that ain't gonna happen.

[smirks to himself]

People wanting to marry you is pretty weird, isn't it? [he folds his arms] Why do they wanna do that if you don't wanna marry them?

Beats the hell outta me. [tilting his head so he can shoot Luffy a look up and over his shoulder.] It's weird, all right. I got no explanation.

So it's a mystery. [well it doesn't matter.] I guess people like all sorts of weird things. [grins and pokes him in the forehead] Even Zoro. shishishi

[for once, yes, it's an absolute damn mystery, for real]

People can like whatever they want, as long as they're not trying to get me to do weird things with 'em.
