Ugh. Damn, there's benders and then there's benders. I'm not doin' that again.

Oi, Booya...ugh. Hazmats. Crew. Guys. Where are all o' ya? Head count, roll call, whatever. This island swallowed me up for a few days and I need to know everybody's okay.

Any sign of our guys yet? We ain't leavin' Deesuko Ballia without good news.

[he has officially woken up in an alley somewhere, well sated but suffering the world's worst hangover ever. Ever.]

I'm back on the ship. I'm not someone else anymore.

Good to hear it, kiddo. Everything okay?

It's fine, I guess.

Don't sound fine. Something you wanna tell me, or not through the book?

I don't really want to talk through the book anyway, but I just have a headache.

Ah. Right, then. As long as you're okay, just...take it easy, eh? Till I get back. I swear I'm on my way back to the ship, for real this time.

Yeah, I'm okay. I guess we'll see you soon.

[While Gan Ning was busy getting back and getting himself in better shape, Roxas has been resting for awhile, mostly because Lea has finally impressed upon him that he really needs to take things much more carefully with his shoulder the way it is.

When he's finished resting, he heads out to the deck, summons Oblivion and begins cleaning it, just like Aya showed him. Since he had Oathkeeper out while talking to Lea, he realizes that he needed to take care of this. It's pretty important after all.]

[he gets back well enough, with some fresh sea-salt for Gaius to play with, and after some water and finally food, Gan Ning is ready to check on his crew for real. Or, well, at least, most of them he can just check up on with a nod and a glance, but he did promise Lea one thing, and it really can't wait.

It's easy to find Roxas, and he's impressed to see the kid cleaning his weapon. Smart, that. He jingles on up, hooking his thumbs in the cord on his belt that holds his bells.]

Hey, there ya are. I'm back, just like I promised.

[Aya taught Roxas awhile ago about cleaning his weapons and it's a lesson that stuck. He should have done it sooner really, but he's been busy being Guy. He looks up from what he's doing and gives Gan Ning a smile.]

Welcome back.

Might say the same to you.

[he flops to a seat nearby, crossing his legs and being all casual-like]

I heard about the weird thing that happened, everybody bein' all switched around. Gotta say that's the weirdest thing I've ever heard.

Oh yeah, that was really weird! I was taller than Lea! I rested my arm on his head just like he does to me sometimes.

[Roxas snickers, not everything was bad, that was pretty great.]

Yeah? Who'd you end up as, then?

I can't even imagine how weird that had to be.

Ummm, I'm not sure. I forget. Lea said he looks like me, just older. He was Selphie which is really weird because Lea's not a girl.

[He nods.]

I couldn't do any magic or summon my keyblades. I had to carry around this guy's sword. Really weird.

[He sort of missed the bit where Selphie was a girl, so now he's laughing loudly]

He was a girl?! Hahahaha! Oh man! The poor guy.

Ah, that sucks, though. Not bein' yourself, not used to not having your own powers and stuff.

Yeah! He was a girl! She's really mad at us now though.

Uh oh, is she? What, because some guys were in her body or somethin'?

[his mind is going somewhere but he won't share that with Roxas. Still laughing at the mental image, though]

[He shakes his head.]

Well I'm not really sure I get why she's mad at me, but she's mad at Lea for trying to pretend to be her and lay low. I think she's mad at me for not telling her he's doing that but that's kind of the opposite of going undercover if you tell people. Marco said it's because I'm more loyal to Lea than her and that made her feel hurt.

[trying not to bristle at the mention of Marco. He's trying to be smart and approach this carefully.]

Ohh so that's how you guys ended up...you were in the bodies of people on the Spades ships. Well, that makes sense. I can see how he'd be afraid they'd make him leave if they knew it was him.

[Roxas shakes his head.]

Nope, I was on the Friend Ship! But Lea was pretty upset after everything happened and I went over to look out for him. I didn't want him to feel alone or sad. It makes me feel bad.

[He nods a little bit.]

He's afraid they hate him, I think.

Ahh, got it. [nods] You're a real good friend to him. Reminds me a little of me and my best pal back home.

[although he drank away his blues about missing Ling Tong, so he's good now. Just a little wistful.]

D'you think they do? Even maybe one or two of 'em?

[He considers it and shakes his head.]

I don't think so. I think they might still be mad at him because he was fighting with them before we left, but I don't know everything. He thought he might be in danger so he had a good idea, I think. Marco said it's not a good idea, but I don't know what's wrong with it. I'd do the same thing if I thought I was somewhere dangerous.

Yeah, y'know, so would I.

[he shakes his head slowly] I heard a few things, but I don't wanna go on other people's stories. I wanna hear straight from you. There was a fight and stuff, eh?

[He blinks a bit.]

You mean with me and Lea? Yeah, but we figured it out already.

[Also it was kind of personal and he shifts a bit. It isn't the first time he's been asked about one of their fights.]
