[theres the sound of a book being flung open, and then...]

what the HECK?! What'd I do, piss of Davy Jones or something? Eat some strange food? Walk through some... Cursed fairy magical stupid crap?! WHY AM I A....[he paused to look at himself again. Just what the heck is he?]

FURRY RACCOON THING?!

....urgh. I like this place but it's weird. Seriously. Whatever this crap is, it better go back to normal. Anyone in the Bloody Roses hear me? It looks like I'm on isle Empieza for some weird reason in addition to being a fuzzy freaking forest animal. I'm gonna go to the Backwater Brig and use the nav to get to the ship.

((Ooc: oh noes! Thash has swapped bodies with Yasaburo the raccoon dog shapeshifter! But he doesn't know how to shapeshift so currently he's just a raccoon dog. *Faye just nodded and slowly let him go, shaking her head gently with a smile on her face*

Alright. You go away and make yourself much better. Then come back to me when you have time for me...

*She blinked, acting like she was all hard done by, but though a part of her was feeling a little selfish about keeping him to herself, she nodded, and reached behind him to open the door again*

You'll remember to come see me, won't you?

[he frowned a bit... She was certainly making it obvious she wished he was sticking around now. He wanted to, but an achy, hungry body wasn't much fun to relax in]

Don't worry, I will. It won't be a long dive...I'll be back soon and spend lots and lots of time with you. Nothing could distract me so I'll remember...I'll be looking forward to it even as I'm catching fish.

[he gave an encouraging smile then leaned down to kiss her with soft affection]

I love you and I'll see you soon... With some tasty fish for dinner.

*Faye laughed at that and kissed him back, still smiling*

I love you, too. So take as long as you want - I'll still be here whenever you get back.

*Then she nodded at his net and up towards the deck*

Now to on - that fish isn't going to catch iteelf.

Heh...nope it's not. Alright, I'll be back.

[he smiled and turned to leave, heading for the deck]

[as promised, his dive was considerably shorter than normal, only taking just under two hours rather than the usual three or four. He still got a lot of fishing done though; making up for time by simply swimming faster and getting a good workout out of it. When he got back, he cooked some fish up for Faye and himself, gathering up some bread and water as well before heading to her room with the trays. Since his hands were full he knocked on the door with his tail]

*Faye headed over to the door, smiling as soon as she opened it and saw Thash standing there with a tray of food. She held the door so that he could get into the room and, as soon as he was there, she started sorting out her table and the pillows on the floor as usual so to set up their little makeshift dining area*

Hey, you. Wasn't expecting you back so soon. I'm glad you're back, though, I was beginning to get pretty hungry.

Hey, I've kept you waiting for over three days...didn't wanna keep prolonging it. Besides, I'm hungry too heheh.

[truth is he was starting to miss her a lot too, but he didn't want to sound sappy by saying something like that]

[he set the trays up when the area was arranged, sitting down with a sigh] ah, I feel tons better already...well my body anyway.

[better meaning tired...he'd worked himself pretty good. He liked that feeling, though]

Well, I much prefer getting to see you - the real you - whenever I want.

*Which was more or less Faye's way of saying that she missed him, also not wanting to sound sappy. She smiled as she sat down, leaning closer to her plate to inspect the fish, just to have a look at what kind it was*

That's good. I'm glad you feel better.

[he smiled at her and nodded] I guess that's a disadvantage of staying active all the time... Getting cooped up isn't just mentally miserable but physically too...

[he looked down at the fish, his stomach rumbling a bit as he moved to start cutting it up] this is called red snapper. I haven't had a whole lot of it myself because they're on the rare side, but i happened to find a big one swimming around today. They must be tasty since they're usually on the stock lists of high-end restaurants... I dunno if my simple cooking will do it justice, though.

But active people, or any people, aren't supposed to be trapped away in a cell like that. It isn't normal. So of course you were going to hate it.

*She shook her head, getting ready to dig into the fish*

On the plus side, I owe you a birthday massage that I never got round to giving you... Hope you don't mind it being delayed.

*Then she happily got stuck into the fish, remarking immediately how good it tasted, then keeping quiet as she continued to eat*

Oh yeah...that's right! That would be great...might even prevent me from getting sore and stuff tomorrow.

[he started eating the fish too, hungrily but not rudely fast]

Mm, then wouldn't that be even better?

*Faye slowed down her own eating by taking bread, drinking water, eating fish. She glanced over at Thash and watched him, glancing at the bed. Faye wasn't quite sure how to say what she wanted to say without sounding stupid or sappy but...*

And you'll stay, won't you, with me tonight?

*It had only been a few nights, but sleeping on her own was something she didn't enjoy very much now that she knew she had an alternative*

[he paused his eating to look at her with a genuinely happy smile]

Sure, of course! It'll be awesome to sleep on a soft bed again...and with someone to cuddle up with.

Good.

*She made herself a little sandwich with the fish and bread that she had left, and smiled widely back at Thash before finishing off her meal*

This is delicious, Thash. It was a lucky day when I found you.

Glad you like it...and that you think of it that way, heh. Never would have guessed that the day I killed a unicorn and almost got eaten by a monster tree would also be such a lucky day...

[he finished off his food as well, leaning back slightly with a satisfied sigh]

That hit the spot...

Hmm... My poor pet unicorn.

*Faye laughed at the memory and stretched her legs out beneath the table so that her legs reached his*

Just let me know when you're ready for that massage.

[he laughed a little bit too at the absurdity of the whole situation and how easily he'd fallen for it...it was pretty funny. When he felt her feet under the table, his tail moved slightly to run along her calf lightly]

Well we can relax and digest for a few minutes first if you want... It'll be more comfortable on the bed though if you don't mind us moving there.

*Faye giggled and smiled as his tail tickled her leg, but it was a touch that she did always like*

Bed sounds good.

*She got up slowly, tossing her pillow back onto the bed, and started piling up the plates on the table, then pushed it aside. Then she got onto the bed, stretching out sleepily on her stomach*

This is very comfortable...

[hed help her with the pillows, plates and table, then watch her stretch out. He just looked at her for a moment, glad to be in here with his girlfriend whom he loved. He also liked the way she looked in that position. After a moment he climbed into bed next to her, rolling over mostly onto his back with a happy sigh]

Yeah...and peaceful.

[he tried not to think of the violence that would be coming up soon when they reached wherever it was he spades had asked them to go]

*Faye shuffled closer to him, resting her head against his shoulder and draping an arm over his chest lightly. She kissed gently at his jaw, her other hand weaving into his hair slightly*

Mhm, it is... Things being so peaceful...it's strange, but I think I like it... Sometimes. Like now.

[one of his hands came up to rest over hers on his chest and he nodded, closing his eyes and enjoying her light kiss and hand in his hair]

Yeah... I used to think there was no better way to enjoy myself than to fight...I've certainly been proven wrong, heh. Peace ain't bad at all when it's like this.

Mm... I agree.

*She sighed softly, content, breathing against his neck as she wriggled even closer to him*

Do you think you could do this all the time? Or do you think you'd miss running around and slashing stuff up?

[he put an arm around her when she got closer, a tranquil smile on his face. At her question though, he glanced at her with an amused smirk]

Are you asking me if I'm ready to settle down? Heheheh....[he shrugged, half joking]

Honestly, if the need for all violence was removed from my life, I'd probably have a hard time with it at first. But I think I could balance it out if I could hunt and train now and then, especially if I had a tough training partner. I could definitely get used to doing peaceful stuff like this a lot more, though. It beats making weapons, which is what I used to spend most of my free time on...

Huh? What?!

*Faye was immediately startled by that question, leaning back from him as her eyes openedwide and her cheeks flushed red. Sure, maybe he was joking around, but with Thash there was a chance that he wasn't. Still, she stayed close enough, listening to what he said and nodding slightly*

Are you thinking you're spending too much time doing other things now? With me?

[he was a bit amused by her reaction, but didn't say anything else about it]

Naw, I don't think so. It's kinda difficult to make significant money making weapons as a pirate anyway, with us traveling all the time. Treasure hunting and grabbing fish for local restaurants at island seems more profitable. The amount if time I spend doing stuff like this is just fine.

Glad to hear it. I'd hate to think I was too much of a distraction for you...

*She smirked as she said it, her hand moving down from his hair and trailing over his neck and onto his chest*
