....urgh. I like this place but it's weird. Seriously. Whatever this crap is, it better go back to normal. Anyone in the Bloody Roses hear me? It looks like I'm on isle Empieza for some weird reason in addition to being a fuzzy freaking forest animal. I'm gonna go to the Backwater Brig and use the nav to get to the ship.

...and a shark tail and shark teeth? Yeah, that's me. So you're tellin' me you didn't do this on purpose? [he wasn't sure he believed that but then again... The other journal posts had sounded pretty surprised]

Well uh...I'm a tanuki. There's a lot of legends about us and at least the one about us being able to shapeshift is true. Not the one about us having prehensile testicles though, that was a joke that got out of hand back in the Sengoku era...ahem. Anyway you could presumably transform yourself back into something like your former body.

Whoa really?! That'll come in really handy...I dunno where you're at but I'm kinda locked up right now. People might be looking for you... At first I wanted 'em find you but now I realize it ain't going to do any good...the captain would just lock you up too. So be careful who you talk to in my body. Might be best to stay out of sight as much as possible.

I'm normally really good at staying out of sight but...no offense, but that's kindof hard to do in your body. I'm assuming you can swim? Maybe breath underwater?

Yeah, I can breath underwater. If you need to hide or escape from someone just dive into the water...on my body it's easy to keep up with the ship

Heh, you know a lot about sharks. Yeah, I have ampullae of lorenzini in my jawline and can feel electrical fields in the water. I can also bite through really hard stuff with my teeth

So, you kindof visualize what you want to turn into. Get a really good picture of it. Rotate it around in your mind like a model. Then you kindof...will yourself. It's like using a muscle you didn't really know you had before.
