[It's about seven o'clock in the morning, time for the cook to make breakfast . . . ]

[When suddenly . . .]

AAAAARRRGGGGH - GGGHK!!!

[Rise and shine! Why, yes, that was a scream that ended in a choking gurgle.]

I'm - I'm -

I'm furry! I'm big! I'm not sexy and beautiful anymore!

Who did this to me? I'll feed you to my crocodile, you - you - you villain!!!

[. . . And then the deep, manly voice immediately starts wailing, hiccuping, and crying.]

[ooc; Kodachi's now in Bepo's body! As such, she's on the Million Merrily. :) Action is open to those nearby!]

[Kodachi's head jerked up at the other woman's entrance, her teeth bared in a snarl that was probably more alarming than she meant it to be.]

You! Did you do this?

[She leapt up from where she'd been kneeling on the floor - and hit her head on the ceiling.]

[Where was that gun? She could use it now. But she doesn't have it, so, all she can do is inwardly swear.]

[There's a talking bear. A talking bear that might want to tear her throat out and eat her.

Today is not a good day.]

[Kodachi let out another yell that should've been a scream of frustration if it didn't sound so bear-like.]

This! I'm not usually white and furry!

Are you a witch?

[The martial artist stalked closer to her, her big fists clenched.]

TURN ME BACK RIGHT NOW! IT'S BAD ENOUGH THAT I'M NOT BEAUTIFUL ANYMORE - I'M NOT EVEN ON THE RIGHT SHIP!

[Not on the right ship...

That connects somewhere in Rogue's mind, even as she slips into a fighting stance. Which highlights the dress she's in and the fact that, now that she's thinking about it... Her body feels wrong.

There's no weight to it. No muscle. She can't feel the tension right, the understanding. The muscle memory. She knows what her physical reactions should be like... and they're not happening.]

I ain' a witch, an' I don' know what's goin' on any better than you do!

[Kodachi too began to feel it - she didn't have the right center of balance, the right build for her martial arts, the right everything! She flexed her arm and could feel the muscles beneath - this bear was a martial artist too, but it wasn't the same.]

I want to go back to my crew!

Who are you, and what are you doing here?! If you weren't behind this, then are you a victim too, or are you here to simply laugh at me?

[Kodachi let out a haughty sniff that just didn't sound right when done as a bear. It sounded more like a snuffle.]

[She slowly relaxed out of the fighting posture.]

I... ain' where I'm s'posed to be either. Or... who... I'm startin' t' think. Clothes are wrong, things don' feel right.

[She's almost afraid to find a reflective surface to look at herself.]

At least you aren't furry and big!

[Tears were forming in her eyes once again. Oh, her vanity.]

I'm . . . am I ugly?

I'm not on my ship - my body is strange - at least you still look decent!

[And Kodachi burst into noisy tears. Talk about mood whiplash.]

I hate it! What's happening to meeeeee?

I am Kodachi, but I am no longer a Black Rose! [More crying.]

[All she can think about is Kitty. How upset she'd be at something like this. Which is probably why she makes herself smile a little.]

Ugly? Nah. Kinda cute, actually. When y' don' have th' whole... bared teeth thing goin' on.

Cute?

[Kodachi sniffled, tears still leaking onto her furry cheeks. She supposed "cute" would do until she found her way back into her usual beautiful and sexy body.]

And what's wrong with my teeth?

[She poked at them with a finger, surprised at how sharp they were.]

We must go to the bathroom to look at the mirror!

[Except . . . they had no idea where that was.]

They kinda look like they'd rip me t' shreds in a minute or two. Jus' sayin'.

[But... Well.

This? Was definitely strange. Still, deep breaths. She can handle this.]

Mirror could be good.

Or bad.

[Kodachi stood up, heading toward the door to try to find the bathroom and hitting her head on the frame of the door.]

Ouch!

[She rubbed at her forehead angrily and stepped outside.]

Where are we?

Dunno. Figure -- after a mirror -- that's our first thing t' find out.

[Kodachi flung open the first door she could find. Thankfully it was the bathroom, and she rushed in and stared at herself in the mirror.]

[She was a big, furry bear.]

[She let out a shriek.]

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
