[She's been somber lately. Spades might have noticed she and Namur had been being very passive aggressive at each other for a week or so before he left. And with Namur AND Thatch missing, as well as others, well, she's been going through the motions of work and not so chatty.]

How many crews out there are missing people? [she's clue hunting. Maybe it's a new event. A new shitty thin that Jones is doing to them.] I know a few crews are ...having this problem and I'm curious to when and how.

That's all. Nothing mysterious. I just want to know what we're dealing with here. We got new people coming in, but we lost a lot of people recently too. Why.

And... welcome, to those of you who are new. Fair winds at your back.

[To Spades, she could be found on the moon, journal beside her as she sharpens and polishes her sword while keeping look out for now.]

[They were having a bad month, but Ace had faith. He also had a whole sea of rage to draw from and he was certain when he did let loose with it, someone was going to regret giving him all that fuel.]

You're all precious to me.

[A strong nod. That was what she wanted to hear. She moved to pop up and give him a kiss on the cheek and a one armed hug, holding the blade back and to the side, away.]

You're precious to us as well, Ace.

[she'd draw back and hold the blade out at mid level, point out.] He'll be ready before we go far. What's his name?

[Ace stared at the blade awhile. It was Roger's sword. He had it modified into a nagimaki to show his fealty to his true father, Newgate. Still, Ace's resentment of his father hadn't been strong enough to disregard the quality of the sword. Despite its suffering, it helped someone take over the world.]

You know, I never named him.

[He paused, looking at Haruta with only one real thought in his head.]

East Wind. [For a dozen reasons. The first of which--East Blue had been his home.]

[She drew back a bit more, not all that sure on the history of this sword, but she'd clean it up almost like new.]

Every blade should have a name, even if they aren't legendary. Even if only you care about it. East Wind. It's a good name.

[She dropped back to where she had been seated, starting to work on the blade again.] If you're going to get lazy, after battle. Bring him to me. We'll keep him sharp and strong.

[Look, she has a healthy love of swords, okay?]

It's appreciated, Froggie. [Ace paused, flexing his hands. He realized that even as calm as he was, his temperature was just rising and rising and rise--]

Hopefully we find 'em soon, but--only soon enough I can show your hard work off.

Anything for you, Brother. [she said softly, eyes still down to the sword, focusing on it helped her keep calm. If she thought too hard on all the people missing... she'd want to jump ahead a few steps. This? This kept her level. For now.]

So long as it gets us closer to them, that's all that matters. Thatch is smart. Namur is strong. Chandra, if she's with them, is able. They'll manage until we make it to them. [If that's a comment to Ace or a reminder to herself, it's hard to tell. She kind of needed to keep telling herself that. This is just a stop to fixing the issue]

I don't want them waiting a moment longer. [He knew it would be impossible to get to them within such a short time, but Ace knew better than assume they could cross the world in a handful of days.]

So, for every moment we're away from them, we'll have to make up for it with time at a party.
