004 | Harry Potter | [ Voice ]

[ Some of you may or may not recognize the voice over the Journal as belonging to one Harry Potter, the boy who lived. It's been awhile and he's just been informed what month it is so he's feeling a bit awkward and very confused. But hey! at least he's getting free food! ]

So apparently it's not actually February anymore and I've been gone a few months.

I was on the ship Charming Murderess until-well, for me it was just yesterday-but the point is-does anyone know where my-er crew is?

I know the name's a bit-er... alarming but I don't think anyone on it was actually a murderer. Hopefully that's not changed.

[ Yeah sure, tell that to the kid Harry witnessed get murdered. But hey! Apparently the ministry thinks everything's just fine. So that must count for something, right? ]

Not as far as physical combat goes, no.

But you have experience with something other than physical combat?

Yeah well, I've managed to survive a few plots to kill me-I can't be completely useless even if I do usually have help.

[Plots to kill him? That makes it sound like assassination attempts were being carried out on him.]

Draco gave me to understand that people in your world don't go through anything like that. Do you not go to the same school?

[He was reasonably sure he'd heard that they did.]

[ His life is suffering. ]

We do. It's just that Malfoy's probably had it a lot easier-I mean, I can't recall hearing about anyone trying to kill him when he was one. And then again four times after.

... so you're the only one that people are trying to kill? A civilian target.

[It would make sense if the kid is from some kind of prominent family.]

Well, not the only one. Voldemort's not very selective about who he kills but I'm the one he's most interested in killing I suppose. He's laying low for now though so no one believes that he's back.

[ It's complicated. ]

[Yeah, that sounds more complicated than Sasuke actually wants to know about someone else's world. Still, it's worth asking this much:]

Why are you such a critical target?

Dunno know actually. Might just want to make a clean job of it. Hated the fact he left on Potter still alive, I suppose.

[ That is something he's wondered about ever since finding out the truth about what happened to his mum and dad. ]
