[By now, Kaito's sloppy handwriting is probably distinctly recognizable to some. At any rate, he keeps this message to the point]

Yo! By now most of you have seen the message Celes-san left in the journals the other day, right? Since Scruvey Dog is scheduled to give us the weather and news tomorrow, s'probably better if we start taking votes now. Don't worry! I'm a very fair poll operator, and I'll make sure everyone's opinion is counted and given equal weight. ♥ A magician doesn't cheat or lie, after all!

So far, the questions we have are:

1) Why does Davy Jones want the ruby?
2A) Since we use the ruby to wish ourselves home, does that wish count for all of us or just the person who completes the ruby?
2B) If it counts for everyone, can those who prefer to stay here do so?
3) Which Nation does the navy hail from?
4) How the local sailors navigate by night?

And the people who volunteered to ask 'em are-- er. Well, if any of you want to throw your name into the pot, lemme know and I'll add you to the list too.

If you've got a vote, just write the number down and I'll tally 'em all at the end. Haa. . . let's hope this method actually prevents anyone from accidentally wasting a question, or making Scurvey Dog so mad he refuses to entertain any questions for a while.

The second and third questions are by far the most important. The answer could completely change how the different crews will have to interact.

Good. After the last few times, we are in dire need of some answers that are actually useful.

On one hand, we should be thankful that he's giving us information at all. On the other hand...

Most of it? Maybe, but I've found bits and pieces of it more useful than nothing would've been.

True. But we can't be sure that he's being entirely honest with us, and that's potentially dangerous.

That's true. I don't think he has much of a reason to lie to us, though.

If that was his purpose, then he's been wildly successful so far. At least if you go by some of the responses out there.

Yeah, well, for what it's worth 'm pretty sure we made him so angry his blood pressure skyrocketed a few levels, too.

That's no surprise. If he's truly doing this out of the goodness of his heart, then it must be frustrating that so many people are always asking for more.

He did. But I can't think of any reason why "higher powers" would make him do something like this.

These "higher powers" might not want us to know what their motives are. If they exist. If they're the ones forcing Scurvey Dog to give us updates every week.

That's a lot of "ifs"... but that does make sense.

We'll have to start from the beginning. And try to figure out what the treasure is for, exactly.

That's a question we can reserve for Scurvey Dog next week.

Usually I would vote for myself, but I didn't do so this time around for a specific reason. If you and I are going to be working together on this voting, then obviously I need to see how capable you are.

I might have found people to ask about navigation where we landed.

Well apparently Himmelen where we landed is known among other things for it's navigators and astronomers. It's in the north east.

Heh, that's pretty fortunate! If you can ask the locals and get a pretty good answer from them, we can put that question on hold.

I'd go for option 1. Better we know that before someone hands part of it over to him.

I don't think we should hand the parts over to him at all. But I'll mark your vote down.
