I'm a bit vexed I'd gone this long unaware that islands among the sky are phenomenons that exist.

Honestly, you'd think birdfolk should be the first to know of this sort of thing, yet here we are. Six months into my stay in this world and only recently has it come to my attention.

[he's only a little annoyed because if his tiny nation were in the sky it wouldn't be the shithole that it was]

 

These weeks spent among the clouds more than made up for it, I suppose. Sans the giants.

Still. I'll be a little sad to see it off.

I don't know, I'd think the being on the wrong end of these rapids cascading straight off the island's edge would be worse than a bit of rubbish in your hair.

If the rivers flow off the edge of the island, why don't they all dry up?
