[Voice/Action for peeps on the Million Merry]

Really? Really? We're all just gonna' jump right into the abyss, huh? Why not? I hope everyone gets as spun up as possible and this turns into an even bigger fiasco. Let's go all out. Why not sink a few Navy vessels while you're at it? Make some more fireworks, so they know where to find you.

Let's face it, life here isn't complicated enough, yet. What we need is more random acts of destruction. I'm quite sure that'll make everyone's lives so much better, and won't bite people in the ass in any way.

[Akira actually has to take a minute to suppress his temper, centering himself as best he can.]

Maybe I'm over-reacting. Who knows, could be stress. Perhaps the air on these islands is just too thin. Still, I've never been more glad to not be on the ocean, than right now. Damn it, I'm so frazzled by all this, I think I'm shedding...

Oh! Luffy, if you're hearin' this, we'll have a guest for a little while. I'll take responsibility for her, so you guys have fun with whatever.

*Faye wasn't such a stranger to running away. So when Akira offered for her to get away, she practically jumped at the chance. Maybe it wasn't the best idea, and maybe she'd left her crew behind but she needed to not be there. But hearing that Akira was in his changed state was interesting...so it's with some trepidation that she appears aboard the Million Merry*

Okay. We're going to get into a fight, soon, so watch out for them.

[he's just gotta find who he's after]

Right. Whatever comes, I'll be ready when you need me.

*For an eight-foot-tall, bipedal, wolfen monster, Akira is surprisingly quiet when he comes up on her. A large finger taps her on the shoulder, as a familiar, yet slightly more guttural voice greets her. His coat is as white as snow, with two bright yellow eyes glowing in his head.*

What's up?

*She'd been almost holding her breath, somewhat scared of what she might see. Werewolves only existed in stories and movies, after all. When she felt the finger on her shoulder she gave a soft squeal of fright, and she instantly clapped her hand to her mouth as she turned to look at him. Her eyes widened as she looked him over, very carefully, trying to get used to what was in front of her*

..hi?

I can understand if you need a minute.

*She takes a step back and lowers her eyes, blinking at their feet. Then she glances back up at him*

You're just...taller...hairier. That's all.

Well, that is kind of what happens to werewolves, yeah. You expected something else?

No. No. Of course...

*She cleared her throat and looked around, feeling a little lost*

Hold on, just gimme' a second.

*Akira moved off to the side, gripping the rail on the side of the ship as he concentrated on transforming. It takes a minute to get it going, but he slowly manages to change back, fur and extra body mass receding. Soon he's back to norma, slipping on his shirt and tightening up his body to account for his slimmer waist.*

Better?

*Despite that all, her expression suggests that she's not incredibly impressed*

If you could do that, did you really have to meet me all fluffy and stuff?

*Apparently she was a lot more comfortable speaking to him in a form she recognised*

Because it's harder to control it when I'm stressed. It takes effort to keep this form.

You're not stressed about that fire, are you?

*She gave a small, sad, lopsided kind of smile*

You can go back to your..wolfy form if you like. You looked quite cuddly.

[a little later, Thash notices this post in the journal and decides to check on things] hey Akira, sorry for not talk for a while... That was kinda hectic. Did Faye make it to your ship safely? I was so busy running around getting the ship ready, I didn't even see her leave.

Nah, it's cool. I need the practice, anyway. Besides, it's hard to walk around below decks like that, and even harder to cook properly. It's like working a muscle, the repetition makes me better at it.

[He leans with his back against the rail, turning his head skyward.]

I just wish we could go a month without someone doing something crazy. We have enough trouble with the Navy, why do some people insist on making more?

Yeah, I'm with her. Things should be fine on this end.

Alright, good. Take care of her.

[he needed to turn his attention to other things now...like watching for any navy ships that might be in pursuit]

[So Akira might actually be kind of adorable in his wolf form. If Robin wasn't already confusing, she's about to become so. She's been cold toward him up to this point, but there's no way she'd leave a cute animal looking so disheveled. She finds a handheld brush, then finds Akira- hopefully on the deck, or somewhere well-ventilated.]

If you're shedding, it's probably best to get rid of the loose fur, is it not?

[His shoulders give a light shrug, as a deep WHUFF of air leaves his muzzle. He turns to look out over the ocean, using his enhanced vision to keep scanning the horizon for signs of trouble.]

I guess, but it's very time consuming. Plus it's hard to get my back, you know? It'd be easier to just go back to my human form, but that's tough when my emotions are running high. It's like tensing a muscle, I can only keep it up for so long. Tomorrow the moon will at least be diminished enough that I won't change.

Alright, but if you get tired and change back, I think I'll be okay with that. At least this time I'll know what to expect, height and fluff and teeth wise.

*She looks up at the sky too, almost as though she's expecting some kind of answer there. Which, of course, there isn't*

I don't know. I mean, this time? I have no fucking idea.

Anyway, I'll rustle up some dinner.

*He leads her to the kitchen on their ship, getting out a few materials to cook with. It takes a moment of going back through his mental rolodex before he finds a suitable meal.*

You like prime rib? Normally, Sanji is super-touchy about people messing about in his kitchen. That means I have to capitalize on the fact that Sanji isn't here right now.

Sounds great!

*She happily follows Akira and when they get there she sits herself up in a seat. Faye laughs a little at his mention of Sanji*

I love prime rib. Been a while since I had some, too.

And I wouldn't worry too much about Sanji. If he complains, just tell him I touched everything and he'll be fine.

*After he gets everything staged the way he wants it, he starts to prep the meat in stages, working methodically over each part of the process.*

So how is everything on your ship? You know, I really worry about you, considering the nature of some of your crew.

*Faye props her head on her hand as she watches him work, not really taking in the process but thinking that it looks good all the same*

Urgh. It was fine until an hour ago. But you don't need to waste your time worrying about me. Least not because of my crew...

*Since she had been in some situations lately that were indeed very worrying*

Should I worry about something else, then? No has threatened you, have they?
