[Kodachi's standing in the middle of a town square. Behind her, the precious gardens, temples, and shops of Eternal Bliss are burning in a blazing inferno.]

[She's still in her wedding gown, a black rose bouquet clutched in her hands.]



[ooc; after the fire's put out, about half of Eternal Bliss (or "marriage island") will have been burnt to a crisp. No one will be hurt, but the island certainly won't as pretty as it once was. If you want someone to blame, blame Ranma.]

[Ranma heard the roar coming from his journal as well as the sound of something distinctly sound like fire and immediately set out to investigate. He had to borrow a couple's tea set momentarily, but eventually he finds himself in the square.

He's horrified at the whole situation. What the hell happened to set Kodachi off like this? As if he didn't already know. Upon spotting her, still in the same gown she was in when they met earlier, he called out.]

Kodachi! Have you gone crazy?! What're you doin'?!

[She stands there for a moment, dumbfounded, before . . . bursting into tears. Also, she hasn't gone crazy. She's always been crazy. Surely you knew that . . .]

[Xun Yu takes in the sight with rising horror, but rather than engage Kodachi she rushes past, a luminous violet aura flaming from her body as she reaches for her magic; she floats far above the fires and wields her massive ice spells to put out as much as she can.

Only after does she confront Kodachi. She cannot believe that she is crewing with someone capable of such cruelty and self-obsession. She does not want to believe it, but the evidence is impossible to deny.]

[Kodachi was huddled at the top of a bell tower, staring out into the burnt gardens with misery. Xun Yu clearly didn't understand what it was like to be so consumed with grief and hatred, and Kodachi gave her a sharp look that was ruined by her bloodshot eyes and the tears rolling down her face.]

[She couldn't even bring herself to comment on the amazing magic.]

[It's kind of difficult to miss the town burning to the ground, so Ragna makes his way to what appears to be the source of all this mess, expecting to face Navy soldiers there. Or perhaps some pirates native to this world? Regardless, one thing he did not expect to find upon his arrival was... his extremely pissed off crewmate. It shouldn't take a genius to figure out what happened, all things considered, but for some reason, the Grim Reaper's mind refuses to put two and two together, and he just stares at the scene for a moment.]

[Kodachi had been looking away when he came upon her, and she spun around at the sound of his voice. She was still in her wedding gown, but the only difference was that soot covered her face and tears rolled down her cheeks.]

[When he arrived, most of the fire had dwindled away, leaving glowing embers and cinders and the skeletons of buildings. No one was injured in the fire that she'd caused, but that doesn't mean that she didn't cause a lot of damage.]
