[He's pretty sure he's seen a lot of people laughing this afternoon over these journals and he just doesn't get the joke. If there was one of course. He was pretty sure a lot of what people say isn't that funny.]

Is everyone okay? I know lots of people have been laughing at nothing so I felt like I had to ask.

[He's also unsure of how to handle such a thing.]

I guess given the fact I'm not laughing means I'm not affected, which I guess in this case is probably a good thing. But uhhh... I guess I should ask my crew the same thing. Did this mist make you lot laugh at nothing as well?

[As one of Ciel's servants... Elizabeth is pretty sure that Finnian knows more than how to take care of a garden, but even then as far as she's concerned he can't be much stronger than she is. Then again that's mostly caused because she has yet to see him in action. So she's confident that at least in this aspect them both really stand on the same ground and not like regarding what's their last memory from home.]

I've been thinking, maybe there's some artifact or something that would help us with that. Either by magically enhancing our abilities, granting us new ones or something else, as we stand anything would be better than how we are now. I'll let you know if I find something, all right?

[He pauses for a moment, he wasn't sure about that but at the same time for all they knew there could be and it could be of use to someone like her at least.]

Maybe. I mean there are lots of strange things around here so something like that could be possibe and if you find something, then it will be good for you. Unless you know nothing about it then one would need to be careful.

Of course, I will be careful! Sebastian won't let me do otherwise anyway.

[Elizabeth laughs but she realizes something.]

Uh? Wouldn't something like that be good for you too, Finnian?

Wouldn't something like what? Oh, uh. I don't think it would be a good idea, no.

[Because he had super strength, putting anything else to it he thinks would be a really terrible idea.]

[Pause.]

I-I know what it means to be a Phantomhive servant, but no matter how good of a servant you are, you're still human and the people here have strange powers and everything. So if you're lying to protect me, there's... No need. I... I know about that.

[He pauses, wondering what she meant by that.]

[She goes silent, bitting her lower lip for a moment, trying to think of a way to say it without really saying it. Because even in another world those are private matters and she wants to keep them that way.]

I mean... I know that it's very difficult and hard. And dangerous, so getting something that could help you with that wouldn't be bad, right?

[It takes him five minutes before he replies, when he does realize what she means, he'll switch to private just in case. Sure they weren't a home but still.]

But that's what I agreed to anyway, so I don't mind if things back home were difficult and hard. It's the least I could do for the one who gave me a home, a name and helped me learn a lot.

[He pauses for a moment.] Though I guess having a little help would help even more, I guess.

[She actually sighs in relief when she notices that this is now private, she had forgot that she could do that!]

I know it's what you agreed to, Finnian. But I told you, didn't I? You all are important, even if you're servants, you were picked by Ciel specifically, were you not? No one can ever replace you and Ciel's still young. The Phantomhive family and Ciel in particular are going to need you all around for a long time.

Actually...

[A pause as she thinks of something before she nods to herself.]

Yes! It's actually part of your duty to make sure that you have all the help and tools you can get to perform your duties more properly and remain safe!

That's right. But there is always a possibility that I could die, but thankfully I'm am pretty sturdy so it will take a lot. [Though he was kind of lucky to not have died that one time... He should probably see that as a good thing really.]

That's true, but it would mean learning how to use that and while I can learn, I'm not exactly the best at it. I'm god with what I have, but if something were to ever appear to help, I guess I wouldn't say no.
