Has anyone heard from or seen Sora recently?

I can't find him anywhere on the Moon, so either he's gone to the Sun or... I guess he'll have gone home.

[She would be happy for him as it would be at least safer there, or she believes so. Being there was better than here, right? She can live with him being safe even if it hurt a little if not a lot.]

I guess if he has gone home, I'm happy for him. It's better there than here after all.

That seems to be happening a lot recently.

It does, but at the same time it's a normal occurrence for people to end up back home too.

Where I'm from it was peaceful at that moment in time. There were dangers too but never to this extreme. At least that I'm aware of.

It's fine to be jealous and want him here.

Even if he's safer there or whatever reason.

[It becomes obvious why she started out writing. She didn't sound her usual happy self. Try as she might she just couldn't smile and be happy like things were going to be okay.]

I'm not jealous. I'm actually more glad he isn't here, but it still hurts a bit to know he won't be here any more and that he might forget about everything.

If you say so, but--just in case you decide you're jealous later, you can always come to me, y'know.

Because, the sea stole one of my crewmates. Why shouldn't I feel jealous?

I can't quite say I understand, but I guess considering it did take and does take people away all the time. I guess I could be a little jealous.

I'll support that. You should envy whoever has something you want and if you have a chance, you should steal it back.

That's part of what goes into being a pirate.

But... One couldn't steal people back from others worlds. Only Davy Jones can do that.

There's gotta be a trick to how he does it. I wanna figure it out.

And if we could figure that out, then maybe we wouldn't need to get the shards.

Either or. I don't really want the shards, but if you guys want them, we can find them. I'd rather not use some dumb wish magic to get things done if I could do them myself.

So we'll see if there is another way first then? I can do that.

[Yeah, Sora definitely isn't here anymore. It didn't take long for Riku to realize that either, since he shares a room with him.

He finds Kairi on deck later, and goes to lean up against the rail beside her, staring out at the ocean. He doesn't say anything at first, he just...needed to see her.]

[Kairi had sent the past few hours just staring off into the distance and when she wasn't doing that she was doodling away in a separate notebook. Sometimes it just was a good idea to be by ones self for a bit to think things over and to plan what to do next.

When Riku came along she looked up from her book. She figured she knew how he was feeling as well and it must be horrible, she couldn't even imagine.]

You... want to talk?

...Nothing to say, really.

[He rubs his hands over his face before linking his hands together behind his neck.]

This sucks, Kairi.

[She just fiddles with her notebook, flipping the pages over, back and forth, back and forth. She wasn't even reading or even looking, it was just giving her hands something to do to keep her mind busy.]

It does, but I'm trying to look on the bright side at least but... It doesn't help much.

Because it's a lame bright side.

[Yeah, grumpy over here.]

He's gone back to some other version of us... And if what Lea says is true, their journey isn't even half over. I want to be back there with him -- or have him here with us, I mean, geez, haven't the three of us spent enough time apart by now?

[He's also frustrated, which means that his voice gets a little louder with every word. It's not fair, it's really not, and he probably sounds like a whiny little kid or something but he honestly just wants to kick something right now, or maybe bang his Keyblade against the mast, so perhaps the whiny kid thing is appropriate.]

[She turned her head up and looked up towards the sky. She wanted to admit that she wanted to go home. She wasn't sure which would be better, but after dying she knew what could be anyway. But back home she would be nothing once more, she wouldn't be of much use, but here it was different. Such a problem and it only just annoyed her more.]

You would think so, but apparently not. I mean, I agree with you I would want him here or home, more home than anything. At least there he won't remember dying.

[Winces a little.]

Yeah... I guess that's true.

[He glances at Kairi.]

You alright?

[She pauses for a moment. Was she okay? She honestly wasn't sure herself.]

I will be. Maybe. It will just take some time, like I'm sure it will take time for you to.

[He nods and huffs out a breath.]

Yep. But I'll try not to mope too much, I guess.

[Offers her a small smile.]

That'd probably get annoying fast.

If you try I will try not to mope as well.

[And if it was openly she wondered if people would understand, but she knew she had to try and cheer up.]

I don't think it would. I mean I understand fully why you would be moping.

Alright, it's a deal. We'll be not mopey together. I think we can manage it.

[She looks at him slightly, giving a firm nod.]

Deal. I think we can do that right. We'll just keep up what we do around the ship and that is that.

[Nods.]

Besides, it's possible he could come back. Or we'll go home. So...we'll see him again eventually.

[Eventually is potentially way too far away, but what can they do.]

[She can't help but smile slightly at the thought of going home. Not so much about him returning because honestly, she would rather he stay home.]

Someday, we just have a lot to do here first and when we do... Then we'll be able to go back.

You'll be even happier when you get to see him again.

I know I will do. I hope it's when I'm back home though.

We'll do what we can to make that happen.

We'll do what we can to get everyone home.

I know we'll all make it back. I'm just hoping it's soon.

I hpe so, but we don't even know how many pieces there are.

It doesn't really matter, we just have to find them all.

Yeah, but without knowing how many, how would we know when we were close to completion?

I don't know the answer to that, but it doesn't change anything for me.

You still have a goal to do and I understand that at least. I just hope it doesn't take too long.
