Thera this quote that goes "At the end of their lives, all men look back and think that their youth was arcadia."

I have to wonder how that statement holds up for us in light of the past few days.

I still like to think arcadia is where you make it. [ Which is 400 meters of spaceship waiting to be launched back in the Sea of Stars.]

Well there is an actual place in Grease. Mostly it's used to invoke the idea of a pastoral paradise.

Oh... Come to think of it, I may have read something of that. But I don't think it was any of the main legends.

I can't say I know where that is. [He's from too far in the future for that to be remotely reconcilable as Persia.]

Any man who would say such a thing is man with a misspent life, I say. If it's only your youth you can treasure, you've not done enough with the rest of the time you have. I myself don't plan on so much as pausing for breath until I've none left in this body.

I believe in living life with not regrets myself. It doesn't mean a man doesn't get nostalgic for simpler times. [Not that having to babysit has made him nostalgic for is own childhood in the least.]

This place has a way of making things like this seem pointless because they might just happen anyway.[They don't say dead, could randomly under go a change of age.]

With out cruses this world certainly isn't dull. This is a very diverse patch of sea if you ask me.

Quite. With quite a bit of treasure to be had. I'd rather be sailing my own seas, of course, but I've not lacked for things to keep me busy here.

The Sea of Star is infinitely more vast. This is the most time I've spent on one planet in a long time.

In my time travel between the stars is common. Most people from earth here seem to hail from a hundreds of years ago from my perspective.

Is there much treasure to be had in this Sea of Stars?

Well there was the planet that was mainly made up of gold we crashed landed on. My friend had a little to much fun repaying the DeathShadow that time. [Not only did he patch the hull he gold plated the bathroom]

An entire planet made of gold? Surely it must have lost all its value there! What did they consider to be treasure?

No, but I cried a lot and called them terrible things.

Green Forests, rolling hills, people living in harmony with nature. [Everything his Earth no longer was.]

Hmm, I think I get what you're saying. You're only young once, right? Though I kind of like my twenties more than I did my teenage years.

Well being this age has it's advantages too, back home my friend can actually work on building his dream.

What kind of "dream" is looking to build?

His dream is to build the best ship in the universe. Version 1 was just about ready to be launched when I ended up here.

I have to say, that's a pretty ambitious goal. Especially if he wants to be the best in the entire universe. But I like it!
