We need a name for the new ship.

We are not calling it Seakage.

Boys have penises and girls don't. Girls chests are bumpy and boys aren't. Is that different for you? You aren't a Kokiri, you might be different than that. Deku Scrubs are. They don't have penises or bumpy chests.

[Does the 10 year old have to give you a lesson on sex and reproduction, Sasuke? He grew up in the middle of the woods. He understands a lot more about nature than most give him credit for.]

Then you should know that things like ships or the ocean don't have anything like that that would make them male or female. They're just things.

Deku scrubs don't either. They're still male and female. Deku Scrubs are plant people. So, it doesn't matter if the ships or ocean can't have babies, they can still be girls.

How do you know they're male or female if they don't reproduce?

They reproduce. They're plant people. They have seeds and nuts that grow into new people. And I know they're boys or girls because of what they say they are.

[This is probably one of the weirdest conversations Sasuke has had to have, and he's had some weird ones in his life.]

The ship didn't tell you it was female, though, your first captain did. Same with the ocean.

So? It doesn't mean he's wrong. All the people on the docks at Isla Empieza call their ships and the ocean girls. Some of them say she's the only woman for them or that they're married to her. The ocean has a lot of husbands.

[It's really tempting to say and all the people on the docks at Empieza are idiots, but somehow Sasuke restrains himself to a mere moment of closing the journal and letting go of a huge sigh before opening it again.]

Just because a whole bunch of people think it's clever to call an inanimate object male or female doesn't mean it's real.
