I'm not very sure how this works, so I do apologize if I mess it up, but seeing as I have not been able to really communicate with anyone so far, I was hoping perhaps this strange method of communication might work towards getting me some help.

As one might be able to tell, I'm new here. You can call me Arslan. I'm looking for information on exactly what is going on, beyond the vague dream or whatever it was - that poem thing, which I'll guess others have heard since it's also in this town's square? Perhaps maybe even someone can help me figure out what I am supposed to be doing.

You know you gotta do the usual. Find a crew, travel to find piece of shards. From time to time you can have fun and visit an island. Even then you got these weird curses that happen, like the current one.

It's super fun. [One shouldn't really try and be sarcastic over writing.]

You'll figure it out soon enough and you'll get use to them after a few months.

Not really. They be quite annoying, but again, they still happen no matter what so it's get use to them or just get angry every single time at something that happens like normal.

Anything you can tell me. I've already sort of figure out we are probably supposed to be looking for that jewel, and sailing, but beyond that I have no idea about any of this.

Well, if I don't have any other choice in this matter, how to find a crew I suppose. I have no sailing experience. What the usual dangers are, things like that.

Well, I wandered into the harbor on the main island and I got with a crew that was on the docks. You can also keep reading your journal and see when captains advertise for needing more crew members. It happens every so often.
