That's better! We may teach you manners yet! Now if you want to keep safe be sure to find a hiding spot that is really small and hard to get into. Like behind a lot of crates! Adults are usually too big or fat to fit into little places, so we should be okay, right?

[Maribelle is convinced this is totally sound reasoning.]

I'm going to try to find a way for us all to get home, but we're going to have to keep ourselves safe until then!

Well... A barrel might work for now... but barrels are pretty easy to open for adults, so if you want to make sure you're extra safe from knife attacks...

You sound like you know how to fight at least a little, do you have any pots or anything you can use for armor?! Maybe you can steal some from the pirate's kitchen!

[Maribelle is super worried now! What was all that boking? Who was in his way?! Who wouldn't let go?! Did pirates catch him on the way to the kitchen! Oh no! This was all her fault!]
