You guys know this place isn't making the best first impression on me, right?

[She certainly hopes that the journal works the way it's supposed to. Otherwise, she's going to be feeling rather silly.] Taking me from my friends in New York just so I can hunt for that stone doesn't exactly sound like a good deal.

And I'm really not a fan of pirates.

My point of view's pretty easy to figure out. I'd rather do something by myself if it means I'll be able to stop the bad guys.

They can't get away with ruining people's lives.

Well, this is not a job for only one soldier. But with an attitude like that, you should have little trouble finding a crew.

It'll make things a lot easier for me, since it's looking more and more like I need to join one.

The Howling Sabers? Well, we're not the largest, but we hover around 14 sailors at a given time. You are welcome to come aboard, if you wish. We've acquired a Galleon, which is a sizable vessel.
