First order a business. Owin’ ta a certain apology, which wasn’t th’ best but it hain’t as if I expect that girl ta be competent in anythin’, th’ Sinewave ban is partially lifted. That lot’ll be unable ta comment since, if I hear that voice again it’ll be too damn soon.

Second, since ye lot like Meep so much yer goin’ ta be seein’ him near th’ end ‘o the month. We happened on a shard we don’t need and so yer great friend what can’t seem ta keep his mouth shut’ll be hostin a kinda knowledge contest ta see who all is smart enough ta get it. Ye get two representatives from each crew. Just two. Send any more and I’ll boot th’ lot ‘o ye.

News
‘S been fair quiet lately. Hain’t sure if that be a good thing or a bad thing but there be somethin’ on th’ wind, so keep yer guard up. Quite a few flower festivals goin’ around if ye want ta join ‘em. They say th’ wine they serve at th’ Himmelen Festival ‘o Flowers an Light is th’ best in th’ world.

Weather

North: Smooth sailin from here til th’ middle ‘o next week when a heavy fog’ll roll in an’ stay around fer a few days. After it clears up it’ll leave a bit ‘o a chill behind but nothin’ ye can’t fix wi’ a sweater.

East: Hot’n’dry. Don’t expect sailin’ ta be fun if yer wantin’ wind ta do it with. Expect sudden thunderstorms next week, wi’ plenty ‘o hail ta go round.

West: Rain’s moved there fer now and seems ta be hangin’ around. Mostly drizzilin warm but expect ta be lashed now an’ again. Next weekend should be clear and, all told, a good day fer sailin.

South: Flat as a mirrored pond’n twice as hot as it’s ever been. I’d rather be East than South this time ‘o year. Try not ta dehydrate out there or they’ll be no help fer ye.


Now as ta that, it’s all I have. As a general reminder ye get one question fer all ‘o ye per week. Can’t believe I gotta keep sayin’ so, but given yer level ‘o understandin’ I should just be grateful that ye can read.

What high-ranking Navy officer would be most likely to converse in a peaceful fashion with a reasonable member of our number?

Up til now I'd say d'Larmier, but considerin' what ye lot did at Corsair ontop 'o losin' his earlier battle, I'd say he hain't inclined ta be speakin wi' ye at all. Second on th' list would be Fu Xi Yue but given' th' outworlder reputation at Yuezhong due ta a certain group 'o ye, she hain't so fond 'o ye lot either. Th' only one I know who may listen if ye sit down wi' him is McGee, otherwise known as Crazyface McGee at Gun Frontier, but he's also th' one most likely ta shoot ye full 'o holes at th' spur 'o th' moment as he's a few sails short 'o a caravel, if ye know what I mean.

I was fairly certain that I saw Fu Xi Yue fall to a bullet fired from a flintlock pistol back when the Mistress and the Sinewave had an encounter with her forces. Still, this information is useful and I am grateful for it. Gun Frontier is a place of pleasant memories to me, so perhaps we will try to speak to this McGee.
