I have a question. One that I've been thinking about for a while and I just want people's honest thoughts.

I know we have a welcome committee type thing going around, but I was wondering if they had like a brochure or leaflet filled with questions that usually one might ask when they first arrive and the answers to said questions?

If we don't, I was thinking of maybe making one myself and fill it with information you lot would consider useful to those new arrivals. Like maybe how to sail a ship for newcomers, Q&A, tidbits we have discovered while here such as how death works. That sort of thing.

Would that even be a good idea? I would like to know.

We don't have a brochure, but we do have posters! I try to cover all the important bits, but there's only so much you can do without actually being there, right?

Hey--but if you're willing to stay on Empieza and hand these leaflets to people, then maybe we can work something out!

Posters? [She didn't even know there were any, then again she can't recall last time she was actually on the island herself.]

But wouldn't other people see things like posters who aren't outsiders?

But as for the second question I would if we ever went back there often, but we don't.

Yes, posters! I've been updating them every month. [Then, a slight correction to account for her second question: ] --but not with anything, you know, mission critical. I keep that kind of information in the journal discussions. I wish I could put more stuff on the posters, but we run into the same problem that you have--not all of us can stop by Empieza at the start of the month! We have to have something around that can inform people when we're not there.

I guess the distance between this island and all the others is the problem we usually come across. Otherwise I would be back more often to help welcome people. But I believe people still do, just over these journals instead.

Its not very welcoming, but it helps at least. I mean after all there might be another time when we all can't be on the island for one reason or another.

Yeah--so do we! It's just a more...organized welcoming, you know? A question-and-answer kind of thing. But even then, if someone arrives and they start panicking as soon as they get there, with no one else informed to calm them down and tell them what's going on--we get another Empieza market rebuild, if you know what I mean.

I believe I know what you mean. It was quite a big thing at the time wasn't it? I wouldn't be surprised if everyone knew about it.

You would be surprised! A lot of people don't even know who was responsible.

[...Which she didn't, either, until rather recently--but details! The point is, she can lord this information over others with impunity, and she loves it.]

Really? [Well she didn't have a clue herself technically, so she shouldn't really be talking.]

Yeah! You'd think something like that would be obvious, with the scale and all, but the cover-up was pulled off really well! ["Cover-up" meaning, "Sasuke happened to mention it," but close enough.] But the point is, it was a while ago, and a lot of people just know about the consequences instead of what actually happened.
