Codi, I'm really sorry. I seem to have gotten lost again. I was wandering around the woods and somehow I couldn't find the shore. I know I'm holding you up but I didn't mean to. The good news is that someone found me and at least I'm at the shore.

[There's a pause and then his voice can be heard.]

Hey wait, what ship is this? I also realized I don't know you're name, I'm sorry.

[Another voice breaks through the noise.]

The Gilded Rose. You may call me Captain Grell.

[The sound of sipping tea can be heard. Finally more words are written in the entry.]

I'm on the shore at The Gilded Rose with Captain Grell. Do you know where that is? It might be faster for you to meet me here.

[It isn't the best tea he's ever had but with a bit of sugar it's just right. Hachiken sips the remnants and offers her his cup back.]

Well this can't be good news...

No, I'm fine. Captain Grell found me lost in the woods and she escorted me back to her ship.

[Codi does her very best to remain calm. This has already gone poorly enough--she's somehow managed to avoid a mutiny, at least, but they're definitely not out of the kettle yet. As a matter of fact, they seem to have entrenched themselves pretty deeply in the flames.]

[Maybe they can salvage this. Maybe. But the fact remains that Grell is obviously trying to negotiate some kind of hostage deal, which is better than instant death. So things are looking up.]

...You know what, I'm afraid I don't! Could you please ask the lovely Captain Grell to tell us her coordinates, so we can sail to her?

Captain... Be careful. Even if the Bloody Roses give coordinates, it's probably a trap. And our first priority is getting our crewmate out of there.

Really, Dustin? Of course it's a trap! A really poorly laid one, seeing as Grell's told us that she has him...it's not like we're under any illusions about what she wants to do to us. It's more likely that she's trying to prevent us from springing any traps.

The ship is still docked at the island, I'm just not sure where the Sinewave is from here. I'm really sorry Codi.

[Codi sighs. She's too tired to be annoyed--at Hachiken, at least.]

...Look, it's okay. We can talk about this later--I'm just happy to know you're alright. We're in a lot of trouble, you know?

[voiced locked to Codi and Dustin]

[After Codi states that Crocker has to apologize. Never mind it just did get worse.]

[This is just the sound of Fuu sighing heavily here. Of all the people that could have found him, but they haven't done anything, so there is that at least. She is going to keep her manners never the less.]

I'm perfectly fine Fuu, thank you for worrying about me. Captain Grell and I are just having tea. Codi has made me a little aware of the situation I find myself in, but Captain Grell has been nothing but hospitable.

That's right~! We're having a grand time! We're merely waiting for your captain to arrive.

[Which she gleefully awaits!]

[At least everyone who can help it is on the boat still. At least they haven't all abandoned her yet. At least Grell has only managed to make the ship immobile instead of killing them outright. Codi would normally consider herself lucky for these kinds of small blessings, but right now she's not in the best mood for optimism. There's still quite a lot that isn't accounted for--a lot of uncertainty in her crew.]

[This is a Problem, and it's about time she stepped up to it.]

[Codi stomps her way through the Sinewave, making as much noise as possible around the crew quarters.]

Meeting on the main deck! Hurry up and pack light!

[She doesn't stay long enough to explain while patrolling, but she does wait around up top, as promised, for everyone to gather. Once they are, Codi addresses them all at once.]

...So the ship won't move. Not well enough to navigate the shallows, anyways. Which means that we're walking. [The ginger bites her lip.] Well...Crocker and I are walking--we're the ones they want apologies from, and we're going to give them. The rest of you...well.

[Indecisiveness is not something Codi is accustomed to, and it makes her noticeably uncomfortable. She threads her hands and stares at her feet; her voice is small, hoarse from yelling.]

We need at least one person to stay and watch the ship, but...if none of you want to come with us, I get it. I don't...need to put you in any more danger than I already have.

[Fuu had comeback to the ship mostly to make sure the nav at least was okay should the need arise for it. So when the meeting was called she was already on the main deck, staying silent and willing to at least listen. She had to give her that much at best.

Arms folded over her chest she listened, so they could sail much so if they needed to escape there was only one option left. She figured something like that was going to happen, so she wasn't surprised. But what did she want to do. She wanted to make sure the one the Bloody Roses had was safe, so she wanted to go herself and make certain of that.]

I'm going. I want to make sure he is truly okay. he sounds it at least and that gives me hope, but I have to be positive.

[Codi nods with a bit more determination. As peeved as Fuu looks and sounds, it's reassuring to know that she hasn't completely alienated one of her most reasonable crewmates--or, at least she had a reason to stick around. Her priorities are with Hachiken, and so are Codi's. Perhaps they can continue to find some common ground, there.]

I'm sure he will be--Grell's beef is with me, not the rest of the crew. As long as she has me and holds me responsible...however she decides she wants to...she won't hurt him.

[Denzel is quick to pack, some coconut grenades and fairy tracker on him. A few changes of clothing and some food and while no one is looking Crocker remembers Fuu's warning about Akira and be darn of if he's losing all of his fairies while they're gone! So scoops one one or two with the butterfly and quickly shuts and locks the box the rest are in and closes the net and places that in Codi's cabin because he was not losing all of his hard work! He had finally captured them! Stepping out of her chambers remarks to her.]

I don't suppose I'm getting anything to arm myself.

[Because he does not trust England as far as he can toss the other. In other words, Codi can he have his rifle?]

[Codi can only hope that the walk to the Gilded Rose doesn't take too long for Grell to lose her patience. But then again, she thinks bitterly, that would be her own damn fault for ruining the Sinewave's steering, wouldn't it?]

[...No, no, can't be cynical now. The ginger shakes her head, clearing it so she can focus on the words she has planned. She's stressed, she's angry, she's tired, and damn if she doesn't want this to end soon so they can just go back to their usual, carefree exploring. Hopefully this will all work out.]

[The Roses' ship is in view. Treading along the beachfront near the forest, Codi stops and holds up a finger, signalling the others to follow suit.]

Keep your hands up and move slowly. If they charge us, wait until the last moment to fight back--they might be trying to force a reaction out of us. Don't give them that benefit. [Codi exhales shakily, looking over the gathered crew.] Is everyone following? Last chance.

[With the tea gone and company expected, Grell is on deck, sitting on the railing of the ship and humming idly. It's pretty dark out, but she could still see a bit of movement with the torches they lit along the shore. Ah, so they've arrived? Grell was wondering if they would take their time, and they did. She couldn't blame them, though.

She calls out over her shoulder to her crew:]

ALL HANDS ON DECK!

[Denzel follows Codi close- by and takes her orders. Even if it's too dark to see anything in that forest he can sense those magical creatures out there and every once and awhile turns his head as he's walking but alas nothing!]

Fight back? Fight back with what?!

[As the ship does come into view, Crocker feels as if he's slowly walking down the hallway of the courtroom for everything he every did to Timmy Turner.]
