It's my little brother's birthday, today.

Didn't you see him bounce all around? He has been doing that since this morning... Though it's true that up until just today he hasn't mentioned anything.

[But she can't say that she's surprised.]

I saw him bouncing around once. But I didn't see him much today. [busy bear]

You've been busy, haven't you? It's normal to miss it then, especially with such a short notice. There's still time to celebrate, though, will you join us? I think it's going to be at that park with large reptiles.

It was a lot of fun! I bet you'll like it. I went by myself and have fun so I can only see all of us taking over the place.

You say that as if us taking over a place isn't one of the usual expected outcomes.
