Hey - everyone - guess what?

So, at the end of the Navy ball thing, my arm got cut up a bit. Buuut now that's it healing, the cuts all cross over each other - I can totally play noughts and crosses on myself!

*Yes, Selphie actually giggles a little at this because, after all, isn't this amusing? Turning injuries into games? How hilarious!*

And and and, my dress didn't even get any blood on it - super bonus!~

[ETA: Excuse my UKisms - noughts & crosses is more likely known to most of you guys at tic-tac-toe!]

You mean...like the whole revenge going crazy thing?

*Selphie watches Asami for a moment, before trying her best to open her packet of trail mix without spilling it everywhere*

[That was one way to put it. Asami just nods]

Yeah. [She lets out a huff of air] It's not exactly something I can bring myself to do. even if I tried.

Do you need help opening that?

I went down the whole crazy revenge route before and...well, it didn't really work out so great. But I guess - it depends - sometimes I think it can be worth it.

*She nods and smiles, offering out the trail mix, looking like she might try to toss it to her if she'll catch it*

This time, I just made sure that people escaped, mostly. I was gonna try take some random loot but I think someone got there before me. Wasn't really anything left.

[Selphie can toss it if she wants, but Asami pushes herself from the wall and makes her way over anyway]

It could depend, but I still don't know. [She understood a bit more in this situation, though it still brought up a bad memory and still went against her morals. Asami can't help but frown at that] I just don't want to see anyone go down that path.

It's not... the best path.

*Selphie admits this and moves over on the bed to give Asami some space to sit down*

Sometimes I think there are people on this ship who don't really need an excuse to go blowing stuff up... So I hope it doesn't end up getting too out of hand.

[Asami does so and sits down]

That's what I'm worried about. [The fact that no has technically gone crazy or anything from the whole...well thing is something of a relief to her, but it also concerns her. She doesn't want it to spiral too much out of control]

But yeah, hopefully- [She shakes her head] Sorry.

Sometimes I worry a little bit. I don't really have a problem with revenge, I guess. But there are some people on board that would blow the world up, even if the rest of us asked them not to. That's what we have to hope never happens.

*Selphie smiles lightly and hugs at her pillow*

But so far, so good, right?

[The situation could have been much worse, really. So she's thankful it wasn't]

Nobody was captured, so I'd say that's a really good first step.

*Selphie frowns a little at the mentioning of anyone being captured, and nods in grave agreement*

Yeah. I don't want anyone getting captured by the Navy. Not ever again.

[She wasn't around at the time when people were captured by the Navy, but she imagines it must've been pretty bad. Really bad. Asami just frowns back in a pensive manner and lowers her head]

I don't know what the Navy did to anyone, but we're not going to let that happen. If it does we're definitely going back for them.

[That last sentence comes out kind of awkwardly, because yeah, not something she wants happening in the first place]

*Selphie frowns, touching her wrist lightly where, beneath her blue braclet, she knews there were still soft scars from being captured. She shifts a little uncomfortably, then shakes her head*

That's kinda what happened at the ball. Going back from them, after what they did to me, and to Kairi. Well, poor Kairi twice. The way they treated me when they captured me... I don't want that happening to anybody else.
