Hey - everyone - guess what?

So, at the end of the Navy ball thing, my arm got cut up a bit. Buuut now that's it healing, the cuts all cross over each other - I can totally play noughts and crosses on myself!

*Yes, Selphie actually giggles a little at this because, after all, isn't this amusing? Turning injuries into games? How hilarious!*

And and and, my dress didn't even get any blood on it - super bonus!~

[It's another few minutes, but Chandra has to let go of the magic with a gasp. Weakly, she rises up and sort of flops down on top of Selphie.]

There...done. Did all I could.

[She rolls off after giving the girl another peck on the forehead.]

Go...have a look in the mirror. Tell me how I did.

*Selphie opens her eyes in surprise and holds Chandra for a minute, a worried frown all over her face. She tries to smile after the kiss on the forehead, but she still looks concerned*

Chandra, are you okay?

*She'd make sure that Chandra was okay first before checking the scar herself. Perhaps, if Selphie chose to stare for long enough later on in the bath she might find a faint white line, but the whole ugly scar seems gone. Selphie doesn't say anything at first, just stares in amazement*

I'm fine. Just...used a lot more mana than I thought.

[She props herself up and looks over at the mirror.]

How'd I do?

*Selphie turns herself round to Chandra, and rubs roughly at an eye - no, she is not going to get emotional about this*

It's - it's gone. The stupid horrible thing is gone!

[Chandra smiles up at Selphie, sliding closer to the edge of the bed and rolling over.]

Show me then.

*Selphie shuffles over and gives her eye another quick rub before showing Chandra where the scar had been just moments ago*

[Chandra looks at the little white line and gives it a poke before nodding.]

That'll do. Adds character down there, y'know.

*Argh! Chandra! No! What are you doing?! Selphie blushes a bright red at the touch, but mostly at what she says. Quickly, she pulls the hem of her skirt down to cover her thighs as much as possible though, admittedly, that wasn't particularly far*

What?! What are you even talking about?

Relax.

[Chandra rolls back over]

It's character. Y'know. Something that sets you apart a little.

But - I don't really think so...

*Still blushing because she is thinking too many thoughts at once*

I mean, it's not like anyone's ever gonna be looking...there.

You don't know that. Told you before you'd find someone.

*Despite the scenes she may have read in some of her novels, she's sufficiently inexperienced enough to actually not understand a scenario where a scar like that would be noticed*

Well, yeah, but it's not like he's going to be paying that much attention. And - I mean - no one would be close enough to even really see it so...

*Yup, she doesn't know what she's talking about*

Selphie. One day you're going to have sex. One day a guy may even go down on you. He'll see it then.

[Frank and matter of fact.]

*Trying so hard not to flail here, to be a mature adult Selphie, but the red cheeks say it all*

So that's true then...? I mean - I read about that in some books, but... do men really like to do that?

*Looking to Chandra for understanding with wide eyes*

Yeah, they sure do. That's how girls make one another feel good too. [Chandra lets out a throaty laugh. Gosh, corrupting the innocent!] It's part of the whole thing, Selphie. When you're with someone you do everything you can to make your partner feel good.

Oh...

*But she thinks she knew that part from something she heard or read somewhere. Still, she nods her head at the last thing Chandra says, deadly serious*

Right. I wanna... well, I don't wanna suck at it.

*Then she goes bright red at that - she had meant that she wanted to be good at it but..wow, it came out wrong*

Uh! Well - Uh - you know what I mean..?

I do. The only way to really get good at it is to practice though. Same with anything else.

[Chandra doesn't laugh at the sudden seriousness, nor take the easy jab at Selphie. No reason to make her feel more embarrassed. She sits up straight and gives the younger woman a friendly expression, no trace of teasing or snark there at all.]

Unfortunately, I can't really help give you practice what girls do for guys unless you wanted to try practicing with a banana or a toy. With girls, it's different, and I can help you with that more if you want. I'm willing to help however I can, because you're my friend, but it's on to you to tell me what you want to learn.

*Selphie presses her hands to her cheeks as though that will help get rid of the red colour. She appreciates that Chandra hasn't stared laughing at her yet, so she manages a small smile, though she still doesn't take her hands away from her face*

A banana?? Or...a toy? Like a toy ban - Oh wait. Nevermind...

*It took her a second, but she knows enough to know that Chandra didn't mean a toy banana*

Is that really something I need to try? I mean.. say.. say I did that with a guy.. They're meant to really really like it, right?

Uhm...and thanks but.. I don't think I'll need stuff for women...

[Now she does laugh, but it's a gentle thing, almost like a big sister.]

It's something most guys like, yeah. Makes them feel nice. But you never have to do anything you think might make you uncomfortable. That's part of it too, y'know.

[She crooks her fingers. C'mere Selphie, she's lazy.]

Because if you're uncomfortable, then nobody has a good time.

Right.

*She gives another serious nod, trying to take note of everything Chandra had been saying. She still looked a little serious when she moved to sit closer to her*

Okay. Comfortable, making him feel nice, him making me feel nice, everyone has a good time.

[She sits up now and leans back on her hands.]

Yep. That's kind of the point. It's supposed to be fun, Selphie. Especially when you use your hands or your mouth. You follow what I'm saying, so far?

I know it should be fun, and I really hope it will be. I just... I never knew it would be as complicated as all of this...

*She does, finally, a little bit, manage a smile. Then she takes a deep breath*

I guess I just need to...well, have the chance to try it all out now.

[Chandra nods.]

It's a bit overwhelming at first, sure. And if you're worried about it, well...like I said, I've got a toy I bought on the pirate island I haven't used. You're welcome to it.

What?!

*That just sets her off again and she plasters her hands against her cheeks*

Uh - I mean, I mean no thanks.. That's okay.

*Not to say she isn't a little curious about these toy things but.. Chandra, is it normal and ladylike to admit to having these things and offering to friends?! So embarrassing!*

[Chandra shrugs mildly and flops back on the bed. This is totally normal, Selphie is just weird.]

How's your leg feel, by the way? Tingly still?
