[Shipmates, feel free to find the poor guy sprawled out by the table in the galley. Unfortunately, don't expect much response from him over the journal. Someone's going through sugar withdrawal.]

[Why does this guy keep dying???]

Augh, no... I'm not dead yet- [He groans again, sounding muffled once more as he drops his head back against the table again.]

[That's one of the first things he checks for. Never can be too careful.

But he's thankful Gaius is still "alive," breathing a small sigh of relief as he observes the body.]

Gaius? Please answer me. I don't want to go through the trouble of making a funeral pyre out of the materials we have aboard the ship.

[If his face wasn't already flat against a table he'd slap his hand against it right now.]

[That thud is his forehead against his hand on the table.]

[He gives Hiccup a withering glance...before dropping his head back over an arm.]

[Aaaaand there goes the volume again. It takes him some effort, but he's going to try very hard to nudge his journal closed because goodness boy, you're not helping his headache.]

[Well, what does one do with someone half-dead?

Instead of standing there and being useless, Hiccup at least tries to get the poor guy a cup of water. Getting him to drink it is another story.]

[Or grab the cup. Or lift his head. Well, maybe he'll manage with some help?]

[...Yes, that would need to be done, wouldn't it.

The cup is set down as he attempts to lift the thief's head. Both hands are placed on either side, pulling as firmly as he could.]

[Well, if Hiccup is going to put that much effort into this, Gaius supposes he can try ~~not to die~~ to sit up.]
