See, the Gaius I know is a former thief, who decides to work for Prince Chrom in his army. Chrom's army is trying to save their land and other lands. But somewhere in the timeline, he's betrayed by a close companion, and then the dragon wakes up.

Chrom's kid, Lucina, is my leader, and she's the one who gave us the idea to travel back in time. The whole army... were kinda like one big family. A really weird, messed-up family. And Gaius is like that one uncle who never grew up.
