I actually find the being here to make perfect sense. [Considering she had this happen once before.] At least more than the journal anyway.

You serious? Some guy yanks us over here cuz he feels like it and expects us to find pieces of some rock? What about that makes sense?

Quite easily. Firstly our mission is as you say find those pieces of shards. Now the mission is never suppose to be that easy otherwise it wouldn't be as fun or we would never gain experience if it was.

Basically we are called here for a purpose and that 'rock' probably has a much higher purpose than we all realize. Maybe it's because it's something only we can handle or maybe because the natives are too scared or have tried and failed one too many times. I can't say for sure of his reasoning, but it can make sense if only other worlders can do something with it.

That's a different way'ta look at it, I guess. Still sounds to me like this guy's just usin' us.

That is a very high possibility and is something that has crossed my mind before. But as to why we don't rightly know.

Maybe, but if it were for anything good, you'd think the guy would come clean about his reasons. I don't care to be forced into things.

I don't think anyone is happy about it, but there is nothing else we can do. When one see's a glimmer of hope people will go for it.

Even if it's potentially a trap, huh.

Afraid so. A mission where the goal is to go back home then not much one can do about it except to do it.

...hn. Well, at least we'll be expecting the trouble.

Oh, of course we will be expecting a lot of trouble along our journey I wouldn't expect anything less.

You're awfully optimistic about all this.

I get that a lot, but it's more I'm use to this kind of thing by now.

I'm just a normal everyday girl thrown into a world that's like an RPG. I'm quite happy for that chance no matter how strange.

I guess everyone's entitled to their own opinions about the place. I can't say it ain't interesting, but I got things that need doing, back home, and this whole side-trip's really killin' my mood for it.

An RPG means Roleplaying Game. it's a simple game, but fun.

[He snorts in light amusement.]

No need to play roles here, I already got a land I need to protect and a country to conquer. So you can see why I'm a little anxious, bein' here.

I can understand fully, but sadly there isn't much we can do about our currently situation.

Yeah, I keep hearin' that, and it just makes it more annoying.

It really does. But we can just hope things will get better from here.

Guess it's better than callin' it quits before you even get started.
