Hi, everyone!! I met a lot of you today, but to everyone I haven't met, I'm Hajime Ichinose and I was pulled here just like the rest of you by that giant grumpy ghost pirate guy! I wanna go out and find treasure like he told us to, but I don't know much about the ocean or sailing or treasure hunting. I am really good at interior decorating and papercraft, though, so if anyone has a ship that needs a makeover, you can totally call--well, write, I guess--me and let me know! Oh, and I'm a superhero, so I guess that's important to say too!

Let's all work together to find the treasure! I look forward to meeting more of you!

We can! But when we can't be in the same place, we can talk like this! I guess there aren't phones on your planet, Ace. Do you have to go find someone every time you need to talk to them?

I dunno what a phone is.

But, we use snail-transponders if we want to talk to people out loud.

[He finds it normal to talk into a snail rather than a book. So sue him.]

Snail-transponders?! Are they real snails or do they just look like snails?

Sort of. We hollow their shells out and put electronics in the back of them. That way, they turn into these things we can talk to each other with.

I want a snail phone!! Do you know how to make one? I guess they probably won't work here, but maybe I could make one when I get back home. [She's not sure there are snails big enough, but OH WELL.]

I dunno how to make them myself, but I used to have one of my own.

You gotta feed 'em a lot and make sure they get exercise or their signals get really lousy.

Mostly leaves and seeds, I guess.

But, I haven't seen any put to use here. So, you may be outta luck.

I mean, I'd prefer the snail transponders, but you need a lot of them in a network for them to be useful.
