[He's going to regret this later, but there's a bunch of excitedly high-pitched chirps like a bird singing a love song.]

[That's okay. It matches the background sounds.]

[But FAR more embarrassing is the scribbles he makes into the journal:]

[So someone has a case of Spring Fever. Or maybe just a fever.]

[And then in big bold colorful levels Marco makes sure to add:]

FREE FLOWER CROWNS FOR EVERYONE WHO SIGNS UP NOW.

[Yeah. He's kind of lost it.]

I don't know how long it'll last though. The flowers, I mean. [Helps brush some of that hair back to tuck behind an ear.] Your beauty is one that could never fade.

[She gives a curtsy, and when she stands up straight, Marco is there to help push back a strand of her hair. With a smile, Grell hues a bit from the kind act.]

Such honeyed words never tasted as sweet from any other lips. You have my thanks. I'll wear it until the last petal falls.

[Grins softly.] Well, you might want to take them off at night. Otherwise you'll get pricked pretty badly, eh?

[A slight pout.] Yes, perhaps you're right.

[Leans forward lightly and kisses her cheek.] Red really does suit you.

[She watches his movements, smiling at the kiss.]

I've been trying to convince everyone of that! [She pokes his arm.] You should join in my quest to persuade the masses!

[He laughs softly.] Okay, so long as you don't mind that blue and purple suit me better, yoi.

They do, but I bet the spots of crimson would enhance your features~!

I never was fond of getting my enemies' blood on me. Izou gets mad because it's so hard to clean.

I promise not to tell~! [Idly plays with one of his buttons.] I can get rid of the evidence for you!

[A sort of a sly grin.] That is awfully tempting.

The best kind of tempt, at that. [She grins as well, leaning in close to whisper.] Think about it. Long and HARD.

[And leaning back, leaving his buttons alone.]

[He's pretty sure his heart is up in his throat, and his heart is racing.]

[He tucks her hair back behind an ear, cups her ear lightly rubbing an earlobe, and grins lazily.]

Oh believe me, I am.

[That's where all hearts belong, anyway. According to her. Good thing she's not a surgeon.]

Excellent. [The ear rub felt nice, and she closes her eyes for a brief moment before opening them.]

As for that, I'm not sure. I don't intend to go to anymore spring islands, and especially not during spring itself.

You mean for free? Of course not~! {GRINS] Especially if you don't wish to stay at that lovely island!
